    Drugs In Your Campaign World

The Ptolus setting defines various drugs and their effects. Shivvel and a few others I think, don't have my book at the moment though.

Price this Magic Item for me

Well, except you have to talk for Message, thoughtstone's only require mental action. The price of them only really matters if they're going to sell or buy them, but if its a clandestine deal then they probably couldn't sell them to Myraeth's at least, and you said it was a reward so they...

Need some help with a potentially broken combo

Send an Inevitable after him, specifically the Quarut(CR 17) from Fiend Folio, whose specialty is those who disrupt space and time.

'no two creatures more then 30' apart' simple phrase, big fight

I think you might have it slightly off. If there is 5 feet(1 square) between two creatures, they are 5 feet apart, yes? If there were any further, they'd be More Than 5 feet apart. If there is 30 feet(6 squares) between two creatures, they are 30 feet apart. If they were any further, then it...

    Baleful Transposition

Reading the spell description, I don't really see how he's going to do this. The creatures that swap must be connected by ground, bridge, or rope. How exactly is he going to fly off the edge of a cliff and still have a rope connecting himself and the target ?

Price this Magic Item for me

This sounds very similar to Thoughtstones( p.166 in the ptolus book ). Maybe they're powered by a rogue element in the city, and have to work within a certain range of say, delvers square, in order to function? Or have a monthly fee? Just tossing out ideas. Aside from that... 2500 gp sounds...

Do experts get a bonus feat at 1st level?

I don't see anything in the DMG to indicate they get any more feats than those every PC/NPC gets.

When you have a - for a save, do you automatically fail?

Well it does say: Edit: But yes, Dex 0 means you can't move so I would say you can't cast any spell with an S component.

When you have a - for a save, do you automatically fail?

Interesting to compare also with the text for attacking objects: So a table has a Dex of 0 , but a Shrieker has a Dex of --. ..... I think I'll just go with "Dex -- is the same as Dex 0 == being effectively paralyzed/helpless" for my party. This I think it one of those things that just...

When you have a - for a save, do you automatically fail?

Except the Formian Queen doesn't have a -5 Dex penalty to AC like the Shrieker does. So which is correct as far as AC goes ?

    Weapon Undamaged

Things like this are why me and a friend of mine came up with more sensible rules for items dealing and taking damage, although I can't remember them now :( Per the rules I dont think there is anything about weapons taking damage :\

    Bearded Devil - Persistent Wound

Interestingly enough, it says the ability is of the bearded devil, not the weapon. Which would seem to indicate it should work with its claw attacks too. Anyway, I would treat it as only 2 hp per round regardless of times hit, and that a creature can't stabilize this blood lose. Don't forget...

    "Predator" build

Blur would be a good effect, true, you could see him just a little bit. Maybe give him hide in plain sight ? In AvP he used the short spear as a melee weapon, so might still be worth having. Are you going for hit and run or one big right ?

    "Predator" build

Add the returning property to the chakram, since it always came back to him. His camouflage ability would translate as greater invisibility I think. At will most likely. Maybe a climb speed, since he was in trees and/or on building alot of the time. The net automatically contracted IIRC, I'd say...

Non-magical infiltration of a magical place

Hardened windows that a glass-cutter won't get though. Permanacy'd Alarms on all doors. Some kind of automatically resetting fire trap in the chimney(helps keep out bats!). DC 40 superior locks to important areas. Guards patrolling the house/mansion ( Warrior 1-3). Topiary Guardians in the...

    Moon men

I can't remember what book it was in but, there are actual "moon men" defined somewhere out there. I want to say maybe its 2nd edition Dragonlance but I don't have books with me at the moment.

Difference between a concealed and secret door

What the SRD says about Secret Doors Whereas I think a concealed door would be like a standard door behind a bookshelf or curtain, a trapdoor under a rug, that kind of thing.

D&D 3.x getting rid of 'common' in 3.5 forgotten realms campaign?

Seconded. While some groups might dig it, others might find it as exciting as RP'ing grocery shopping and chamber-pot disposal. Maybe some isolated villages speak an obscure dialect (kind of like old english) that requires a spell, and that can make for interesting encounters, but having a...
