In my campaign the PC can keep one "feat slot" open, only one feat not taken when it's time because sometimes you don't really see where your character will be going. I told them that it's a penalty for those who don't take it, feats are precious and one less can make a big difference.

We also roll; as a dm: if you roll a 1 you can reroll once, you keep the new result.

There is a system for DR with armor in Uneathed arcana but the armor gives you less AC bonus. For weapon vs armor adjustment you can use the 2nd edition rules, each weapon had bonuses or maluses vs each armor type. Because you'll have less high level spells than a single classed spellcaster but more low level I think you should take metamagic feats with low adjustment at start, 1 or 2 level to spend your low level spells. Enlarge spell, Extend spell, Still spell, Empower spell are cool.

Mmmmm.... Maybe, Disintegrate says that your equipment is not affected, Resist energy says your equipment is affected....Misdirection doesn't says anything.

Usually when your equipment is not affected it's specified in the spell. I would say : Yes.
