    Couple misc. Psionic questions...

Maybe because he has two psionics classes and a limit to his manifester level, you can only manifest a power up to the manifester level of the class you get it from.

    Shadow Blend (Su)

Yes, it doesn't end unless you bring some bright light. If the SM attacks, the character can pinpoint the square but will have a 50% miss chance, better get Blind Fight.

Flurry of Blows with a Thri-Kreen monk?

I don't agree the answer is on page 7 of the actual FAQ and very clear and says:"A natural weapon (any natural weapon) is neither an unarmed strike nor a special monk weapon, so you can't use it along with a flurry". I agree that you can do on top of the flurry off hand attacks with penalties...

Flurry of Blows with a Thri-Kreen monk?

No, it was clarified in an old FAQ. When using flurry of blows, a monk may attack only with unarmed strikes or with special monk weapons (kama, nunchaku, quarterstaff, sai, shuriken, and siangham). She may attack with unarmed strikes and special monk weapons interchangeably as desired. When...

    Stat requirements

From the DRS: When an ability score changes, all attributes associated with that score change accordingly. A character does not retroactively get additional skill points for previous levels if she increases her intelligence.

    D&D 3.x Entangle spell in 3.5

See Entangled at the end of the DMG. You have to make concentration checks for casting spells while entangled, see the concentration skill.

Quicken spell can do it also.

    staking vamps

I would rule that to succeed the vampire must be held or sleeping, a kind of helpless situation maybe so you can do a "coup de grace" with DR and all resistances applicable, you should be able to strike very hard to kill him. New weapon: The holy, undead bane, disrupting, silvered, +5 wooden...

    Many Shot versus Skirmish

Have you seen the errata for the skirmish ability? The skirmish damage can only be applied after you moved at least 10 feet away from where you started. You can use manyshot, a standard action, you will apply the damage of skirmish to one arrow only, as for a sneak attack.

raising or reincarnating someone with negative levels?

If you think that the negative levels are linked to the soul the ruling must be that you roll the saves 24h later, but to be cool we can say that a corpse can no longer be subject to negative levels so they vanish....

    Does Nondection block See Invisibility?

You can see that there is a thread on a similar question but I agree with you; that's not clear. For me it's Yes because it says "protects from detect spells", the old name of see invisibility is: Detect invisibility.....but maybe it was not hazard and the true ruling is No

Mind blank vs True seeing and divinations

The point is there, Nondetection protect you from detect spells (if the check is good) and Mind Blank wouldn't do it?
  13. FEADIN

Mind blank vs True seeing and divinations

Yes, we always played that Mind Blank get you immune to all divinations, it's a 8th level spell and without this power powerful mages would not be protected enough. It must be more powerful than Nondetection: Nondetection The warded creature or object becomes difficult to detect by divination...

Mind blank vs True seeing and divinations

After the intersting Vorpal thread I have another question: What is your ruling or how do you understand the kind of protection granted by the Mind Blank spell. Mind Blank The subject is protected from all devices and spells that detect, influence, or read emotions or thoughts. This spell...

    Vorpal vs fortification armor

A sword of sharpness was like a vorpal but for members with a random roll to choose which (head included, it depended on ruling). Thank you for all this interesting arguments but I think that I will go on ruling that fortification protects from vorpal attacks, the 3.0 argument is logical and...

    Vorpal vs fortification armor

Yes but: Fortification: This suit of armor or shield produces a magical force that protects vital areas of the wearer more effectively. When a critical hit or sneak attack is scored on the wearer, there is a chance that the critical hit or sneak attack is negated and damage is instead rolled...

    Vorpal vs fortification armor

Hi, Is there and official ruling or an answer in the FAQ (I don't think so), is the fortification enchantment protecting from the vorpal weapon? I would say yes because it protects from critical hits and without critical confirmation roll there is no decapitation.

    D&D 3.x Tomb of Horrors for 3.5

I own the older and I read the new, ok for a 9 level group, higher you'll have to make adjustments to the demons in the ethereal, there is more power at lower levels in the 3.x edition.

The one fighter to rule them all....

At least one energy weapon if not both, maybe cold or fire for the undeads, you keep the keen for monsters subject to critical hits.
  20. FEADIN

The one fighter to rule them all....

Moderate fortification gives you 75% immunity to critical and sneak, not 50% ;) Maybe energy weapons would be better than keen on the long run.
