Does your elf use a sword and/or a bow?

I'll say yes, but my usual elf character is a wizard so the weapon choice doesn't matter much.

    Strong Wizard Builds

Wizards are one of me favorite classes. If its a level 1 wizard don't worry about metamagic feats, infact don't worry about them until level 5 (the bonus feat). As a beginning wizard concentrate on evocation and protection spells. Skills for a wizard (who got the Int score) who cares...

Does your Dwarven warrior wield an axe?

Yep, even my old dwarven sorcerer (no other classes) wielded an axe, a greataxe of d12 goodness, yeeeeehaw

    individual fun VS party needs

First off, plain and simple there is no such thing as a poorly designed party. No matter how far opposite the classic fighter/cleric/wizard/rogue is from your own party, good players can tackle any situation. And the DM usually doesn't have to help any more than the classic...

    Serpent Kingdoms: Buying?

I'll deffinatly buy it (when it comes to town). I love the reptilian creatures (go kobolds), probably goes back to my dinosaur fetish when I was growing up.

    Removing Rules - Please Vote

To me 'twould be worthless. Just a filler section. Honestly, if you have to have a section on how to remove rules, you probably got to many rules, and a lot of them wouldn't be core to the game, and probably should be tacted on optional rules. Hey, but what do I know.

    Your one favorite monster book

As favorite monster books, well except for the obligitory MM. I'd go with the Monsternomicon first, the beasties there rock, and the Book of Fiends gets a good nod by me.

    Dungeon 114 Cover

Yeah I kinda does look like it came out of the 50s, definatly (spelling) not 21st century. But it kinda also harkens back to the early days of D&D. By the By the art on the cover's great

Proportion of your rpg purchases online/FLGS

I mostly buy online, partly because, its hard to find things here so far in the middle of nowhere (the south of Texas). Even the national/international stores have trouble shipping stuff down here, and that goes for anything (electronics, appliances, clothes, even food), very annoying.

    Prohibited magic spell schools?

Any specialist wizard I play ditches evocation (except for the evoker, duh). Is there a more singleminded spell school, damage more damage and even more damage. The worst part is I've had DM's who's every other monster/NPC had evasion and a high reflex save. Always making the evoker nearly...

Would you suggest the Ebberon Campaign Setting?

Dwarf Fighter vs. Warforged Fighter: Which for you?

Dwarf. The way I see the warforged their more of a point and fire race (kinda like the half-orc), though if I were to pick a class, I'd say the paladin for the warforged, why have a knight in shining armor; when you could have the knight AS the shining armor.

    BoVD: Your opinions

BoVD, yep, I liked it. Though haven't gotten to use it, because, shortly after getting it, my gamers group broke up. But the ideas in the book gave me some nice baddies that I was intending to through at the group. And yeah, It's a DM's book (I keep it on the section of my bookshelf reserved...

    Tropical Adventuring

Yeah, but I don't picture Sharn as a tropical paradise but as a tropical hell. [edit forgot why] As yeah the downtown beaches are nice but the weather's not (look at where Corpus Christi is, heh he, wipe sweat from brow.) Like my beloved Texas

Your biggest screw-up as a DM?

If your gonna talk about DM word flubs, my favorite was when a certain DM I played under, decided that the stream running through a cave was running EXACTLY in the center of the cave. Needless to say, a column of water running horizontal through a cave, basically killed the session as the DM...

    Tropical Adventuring

Talk about the humidity, how they step out of a building/train/whatever, and it feels like thier swimming, and you gotta have bugs (am I describing a swamp, no) they love the heat (though the height of Sharn's towers makes this a bit implausible). Then to drive the message home have the air...

Health, hardiness -- translating RL to DnD

First off, 160 lbs., a forty year old. I'm 6' 1" tall and weight in at 205 lbs (for those who would have problems, here's the metrics 1.8 meters tall, and about 90 kg), and I'm only 26. Anyways, yeah, If I had to judge my strength by the D&D way, I would have to use two stats, upper body and...

    Elementals and turning

I would say no for a couple of reasons. First, elementals aren't really in control of the airship or train (and I pretty sure the % chance to go bezerk, like certain golems isn't there either), some house guy is. Two, especially with the train, the houses would have experienced it before and...

Defy elven forest-fighting tactics! (Now open to my players)

That was my initial thought as well, but how are you going to do it, there water supply is obviously the river, to big and fast moving to poison, and disease, you'd need magic, and stalking blue said no magic. Sorry to debunk this, but would be a good idea in other situations. Unless your...
