    Opponent threat assessment

    Well in d20 you could probably get a pretty good idea with detect magic, since how much gear they're going to be carrying is pretty firmly linked to class level. As far as skills go... Appraise: Is their equipment in good repair yet well worn? Do the wear patterns match, or does the outfit look...

    The Dashing Swordsman

    Looks fairly reasonable. A class with attribute bonuses is mildly unusual, but not unknown - and restricting their special bonus to a single attack keeps that under control. You might want to lower their will save slightly though, it looks a bit unrelated to me.

    How to stop a druid from wildshaping?

    Why get exotic? Dose him with opium to keep him asleep (or too confused to do much) or just hit him again every time he starts to wake up. If you want to keep him a long time, put a ring of sustanence on him or just assign someone to feeding him like a coma victim.

    Eclipse?

    The generic sample characters all seem to go by the base CP, without any extras from bonus feats, per-level modifiers, or disadvantages. Leaves them open for customization or use as a basis for player characters I suppose. The two personally-named sample characters do seem to have bonus CP...

    Used wands?

    That would give roughly the same result, albeit averaging about 60 charges rather than 50 (unless you skip the d10, since its not a platonic solid). Of course, we can counter that with the unreliability factor. I presume that the die size is fairly readily detectable - probably by a L0 spell -...

    Custom magic system

    Best to keep the fields relatively narrow for improvisational magic too. It helps keep everyone distinct. I put in some options and classes to use it back in first edition, but these days we mostly use Eclipse to customize everyone and let the poeple who want to build improvisational casters do...

    Custom Campaign - G&G Classless (sort of)

    Well, the hit points don't match, but the various ability chains are already broken down in Eclipse - and some of the alternative magic systems might suit you.

    Frightened combatant (PEACH)

    So you can - but you don't generally know what it is you're saving against. I'd rather not trust that it's Fear rather than, say, some sort of weird death effect.

    Custom magic system

    Those systems work, but you have to be very careful to be consistent and unbiased. It's usually best to either keep your own notebook, or have everyone keep notebooks, and record the effects, DC, and discriptions you create. That way it won't vary wildly when someone in a recurring situation...

    Demigod senses

    Of course that also means that any sensory attack that occurs in that hour in the entire plane is attacks him as well. Lets hope he remembered to ban skunks in his dimension.

    Used wands?

    Sure - but if you want an actual guarantee on the number of charges rather than a guess and a surcharge, you'll usually have to pay for the identify spell in advance. No refunds.

    Help me devise a My Little Pony game.

    Just go with a point-buy system if you want to stick to d20, use BESM on the tri-stat system, or use something like Toon. After all, if you're not taking it too seriously, the base rule system really doesn't matter much. I'm not recommending Eclipse for this one, despite my usual preferences...

    Variant Ability Score Generation Method

    Quite true - but its the overall total that's likely to spread more. If you're rolling six dice in total, than the overall bell curve - and the chance of an extreme distribution - is much flatter than if you're rolling a total of twenty-four dice. As for heading towards semi-standard arrays...

    Frightened combatant (PEACH)

    Why not? It looks reasonable enough for most games, and in ours people could already build similar effects anyway.

    variant skill list (45+ -> 24)

    A single craft skill is pretty broad. It might be better to use less general craft-category skills and expand what they're good for. For example, you might let people use relevant craft skills to appraise the appropriate sorts of items, to determine if relevant items are enchanted, to bargain...

    Frukathka's Spells

    If you need a ninth-level spell, and a hard-to-get material component for this, something is really, really, wrong. Just being a moderately-wealthy basketball player, a minor rock musician, or a fast-talking L1 teenager normally suffices to get plenty of sex. Practically everyone likes it...

    How strong is the Binder?

    A lot depends on if the game master is willing to come up with additional vestiges. If you can use a few with complimentary abilities that suit the current situation, then a binder can be very strong. If there isn't much that fits, or if you guessed wrong and don't have the right feats...

    Variant Rage, just a random thought.

    Well, if you want a more general form, you can use the Berserker sequence from Eclipse: it lets you assign bonuses related to a particular type of action as you focus on it, so (for example) an egotistical mage's spells might become harder to resist when you taunt him.

    variant skill list (45+ -> 24)

    Perhaps a tiered system? *Skill almost never comes up: 1 SP = +5 bonus. *Skill comes up every few adventures: 1 SP = +3 bonus. *Skill comes up every adventure: 1 SP = +2 Bonus *Skill comes up several times an adventure: 2 SP = +3 Bonus *Skill comes up many times an adventure: 1 SP = +1 Bonus...

    Ancient/Roman Britain

    There aren't all that many, simply because d20 usually has far too much magic for even semi-realistic settings to make much sense (How many newly-recruited legions equal a party of high-level adventurers? Why don't the Clerics just heal him?). Pendragon makes a good resource, but isn't d20...
