    "+1 Caster Level" (Cleric domains)

When a domain says +1 Caster Level, is this in regards to arcane spells that fall under the same category? For example (and I know this is muchkiny): In the FRCS, a Gnome cleric can have access to two different domains that add +1 to the level of all illusion spells being cast. Does this bonus...

Exactly how dumb is a 7 Int?

I've played a Paladin with a 7 or 8 INT (can't remember) and a WIS of 13. Played him just like Buzz Lightyear. The guy does the right thing, but he's just DUMB!

Wow! Thanks for the help! You just made it a whole lot easier for a Cleric with a few levels of Wizard in there! :D

Which 1st level Wizard Spells have only Verbal?

Role-Playing a Paladin, any tips or advice?

Read the "Dragons of ..." Dragonlance Trilogy. Not only are they great books, but just see Sturm Brightblade. No, the character isn't a Paladin, but he's exactly how one should be played.

Is "Spellcasting Prodigy" feat too powerful?

I'm creating a 25 point buy Cleric for a game next week, and I thought this feat would be a no-brainer. The more I look at it, the more I'm starting to think that I might be better off going in a different direction with him. I'm leaning towards the Archer route, but I want my Cleric to be...

    Creating an archer PC

It really is a nasty design, Pete. My Character in our next game will be an Elf Cleric w/ the longbow as his primary weapon, but I'm not going through with this design (not totally anyway). It's really nasty, but I want to make sure I have the Cleric part covered first (feat-wise, ect.).

Help creating a First-Time Cleric (Skills)

I could still try to go for the 5 ranks in heal, but it'll severly hamper me for some time! I'm playing an Elf Cleric, starting at 1st level, under 25 point-buy system for stats. I'm not going to munchy-archer route, but the bow is still my best option: STR 13 INT 10 WIS 14 DEX 16 CON 10 CHA 10

Help creating a First-Time Cleric (Skills)

I've got my stats, equipment, ect., but I'm unfamiliar with playing the Cleric Class. While Rogues are customizable, Bards always max out perform, and Wizards have max ranks in Spellcraft, I'm uncertain of which skills are really important to the cleric class. Please give me some pointers...

    Who's the coolest iconic character?

****************************** Wholeheatedly agree. But I still like the new ones. :) Branching off the original subject a bit: Have you ever played a character with stats like the iconics? I find it's kinda fun trying to play characters w/ lower stats (though not quite "Rath" level.

Question about Apprentice levels & multiclass restrictions

It's listed in the DM's Guide that a character can choose to play "apprentice level" at first level, basicalling being a multi-classed character to start. I was wondering: How do Multi-Class restrictions play into this? I'm talking about how the Paladin and the Monk class can't advance in...

    Why I Hate Sorcerors

The only thing to hate about Sorcerers is that they don't have any Cha based class skills. The class rocks! BTW, Mage Armor is rarely taken b/c it doesn't stack w/ Bracers of Defense. That's the only reason.

    KoDT fans out there?

Gotta love KoDT. Problem is I can't really find it anywhere, and I don't have that much extra cash to spend on a comic anyway. I'm still pissed they took it out of Dragon Magazine.

Looking for a good Avatar site

I'd love to get a really neat looking fantasy style Avatar for a different message board I post on (I love my Mooby one, and this other board is a sports board. I want to express my gaming side there). I just want a neat looking, D&D style Avatar. Like a dwarf or wizard or something.
