It's worth i, if... The DM uses it correctly, and makes it useful later on. The wealthy PC has more contacts, may know politicians or royalty, or actually be a politician or royalty. Interesting stuff! I also think it should be more than 750 GP. That's just personal preference, however.

With all these improvements, what are they taking away from the class?

****HOUSE RULE ALERT***** To make it so that the monk weapons don't end up being useless after 4 levels, my dm has ruled that the monks unarmed damage can replace the damage listed of the monks weapons. I mean, c'mon, is a fist gunna hurt more than the same guy whacking you with nunchaku?

Skill Focus: Perform sucks. It doesn't add ranks to your Perform skill, so it won't help with your class abilities. Don't fall into that trap!

I've been playing a barbarian in a pbem campaign since I started this a while ago. I'm having a ton of fun with it, and I suggest you e-mail that badaxegames guy, asking for the pdf file he sent me (check up high in the thread). I've had tons of fun with him. Rage on!

Kilona Ziguldun A dwarven female, ugly as all heck (her beard isn't even well groomed!), in breastplate armor weilding a huge claymore. she's a berzerker priestess of Haela Brightaxe, dwarven godess of luck in battle. Concentrates much more on the fighting and 'zerking than the cleric side. :)

Besides the healing stuff. For instance: How much does a ring of climbing cost? Boots of Striding and Springing? I'm looking for things that'll enhance my abilities (not that staying alive longer with the healing potions doesn't!)

Or should I just be saving the money? I'm playing a fighter/barbarian w/ a greatsword.

Yes, he does. It's too bad the rules don't allow for it, because the way Salvatore describes Drizzt's fighting style, he's most definitely got Weapon Finesse. No spellcasting for Jarleaxle. He's probably got 10 levels of the Duelist PrC in him, though!

Great idea so far... I think they should change the CLERIC. I see a lot of people just take one level of Cleric (for the domain abilities) and be done with it. Too much IMHO. The Cleric should get one domain at 1st level, and access to an additional domain every 4th or 5th level. That...

Why ask questions about the rules if you're not going to follow them anyway?

I remember reading in a sourcebook somewhere (probably 2e, probably Forgotten Realms), something about a backpack for druids that contained a plant, so they could use the entangle spell in an area where there are no plants. Kinda goofy, but hey, it works!

I'm sorry, but this begs the question: If you're a new DM, what are you doing running their 13th level characters they built under some other DM? Oh yeah, and if you're gunna be the DM, get a DM's Guide!
