This is the problem for all of us NOT going to 4e....the loss of new gaming material. Because WotC will be changing the SRD and D20 licenses, there will be no more new gaming material for 3.5e. "Sure there will" you might say. But how do you sell it? You can't brand it SRD3.5...that won't exist...

I'll definitely change my buying habits. I'll still get the Dragonlance stuff from MWP as it comes out, but I won't be buying ANYTHING from WotC other than some minis. The books I want will be available at cut rate prices next spring (just like 2e and 3e when THOSE systems went "dark").

True, but some classes are done better in later books, like the Knights of Solamnia. However, I do think this book is indispensable do to the world info alone. The art work may be spotty, but none of its bad. I also understand its now available as a PDF for the first time.

I agree. I love the old episodes with the Master, but I love the change. I was actually a bit scared that Sound of Drums would have Saxon with a mustache and all emo about everything. This new Master is a lot like the Doctor, just a lot more scarey. :]

3.5 has the appearance of rules bloat because of all the new character books and such. But since you can pick and choose the "additional" rules, then the bloat is not really there. Of course, it gets to the point where DMs will discount whole books JUST because they don't want to buy another...
