    2010----In Remembrance.

For the older geeks on the board, he was probably best known as Prince Mikah from The Sword and the Sorcerer.... which is just a wonderfully crappy movie. God Speed Sir....

    2010----In Remembrance.

Billie Mae Richards, the Canadian radio actress, that provided male voice for Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer has died at age 88 on Friday at her home near Toronto according to >E! Online. It was after a series of strokes Richards had. Richards was credited as “Billy Richards” to mask that she...

    The Pinnacle of your Collection

My copy of War of the Lance by Margaret Weis Productions. The guys in my group got it for me when it was released at GenCon a few years ago. They also pulled a choice prank on my all while getting the the majority of writers, creators and artists to sign it. It's not the rarest or most expensive...

D&D 4E Essentials isn't 4.5e, but is 4e as we know it over?

Anything more than about a year out is wishful thinking and flies in the face of established WotC practices. Remember when 3e was going to be the cash cow as other companies put the time and effort into 3rd party products and WotC JUST came out with the core books? Yeah... THAT plan lasted. :)...

4e: big change in essentials: no more daily powers!

That laughter you hear is the 3.5 community. :D Admin here. No edition warring. We really don't care whether you love 3e, 4e or OD&D (Hi, Diaglo!), but trying to start an argument isn't something we particularly want to put up with. Don't do it. ~ PCat

    DnD Novels Dead?

And at the same time, WotC is expanding into comics. This retraction of the novel lines is, hopefully, a restructuring and the novels (perhaps even better ones) will eventually reappear.

    DnD Novels Dead?

Or is this more "restructuring?" Over on the Dragonlance.com Forums, Margaret Weis is reporting that Phil Anthans, Managing Editor for Wizards of the Coast Book Publishing, has been laid off. Dragonlance fans already know THAT particular line has been shelved. What is the status of the...

From Gencon Events - "All D&D games at Gen Con being placed with RPGA"

Not a trick, but let's face it, WotC hasn't been welcoming to OGL derived games. They went out of their way to make sure 4e wasn't as inclusive as 3e or 3.5 And they introduced 4e as the game we should be playing because we really weren't having fun playing 3.5. THIS statement is how I would...

From Gencon Events - "All D&D games at Gen Con being placed with RPGA"

Brilliant! Welcoming and subtly subsersive at the same time. It's beautiful move I wouldn't have that WotC capable of. Whoever came up with it better get a bonus. :)

Dragonlance.... MArgaret Weis {roductions put out first rate setting books covering almost the whole of world. Not only did they include almost everything fromn the books, they also managed to do it with style and coherency not always present in the fiction. They also updated the original 12...
