    Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder Society

I ran the first two scenarios at GenCon. The first was written especially well. It ran easily for a con game but there is plenty of "open area" for more detailed home play. The second was more of a strict "delve" and ran quick for a con game.

    Fire at GenCon? ALL CLEAR

I'd heard rumors that it was at the Marriott. Good to see everything turned out ok.

    GenCon Core Book Sold Out?

And the line Thursday was just insane. The only line worse than that was line for badges which stretched out the convention center and around the block. Worse line I've ever seen at GenCon since it came to Indy.

    Dragonlance 4e in 2010?

Cam! Nice example of the passage of time. I'm a FAN of Dragonlance (half way through running Price of Courage now) and I never really put together the span of years.

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder First Print Run Sold Out

Erik, Will the announcement be at a specific event, the booth, or will you have town criers roaming the halls and shouting the news? :)

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder First Print Run Sold Out

From what he said, yes... that is all core books.... with regard to the 7 tons of core books... made a mistake with quoting. :)

Pathfinder 1E Pathfinder First Print Run Sold Out

Joshua Frost has said that Paizo will have 14,000 lbs of books available at GenCon. That's 7 TONS of books, folks. Let's do the math. If each book weighs 1.7 lbs (per Amazon), that means Paizo has on the order of 8,235 books for sale at GenCon. Joshua SAYS that they won't sell out the first day...

    In Remembrance---2009

Les Lye Passes away at age 84 Les Lye was the only adult on Nickelodeon's iconic 80's show. He played EVERY adult seen on the Canadian borrowed show with comic flair and helped make "sliming" a regular appearance on Nickelodeon. TheStar.com | entertainment | Actor Les Lye dies

    Forgotten Realms "Canon Lawyers"

Corner Ed at GenCon and he'll be glad to tell you about his frustration with DM's miss handling Elminister. Ed's spoken several times at seminars that when he used Elminster, it was never as a Deus Ex Machina but rather to anger or poke his players. Elminster KNOWS all but he does share that...

    Legendary Evils Spoilers - Wow!

Assuming these are PRODUCTION paints and not DEMO paints, then yeah! It will be a sweet set. But I doubt these are production paints. Even so, it will be a decent set I look forward to getting. My only problem is the draconians are RARES! How am I supposed to build a massive draconian army in my...

Question for Scott Rouse re: Retroclones

From WotC's point of view, it might be a case of plausible deniability. If they don't know about something, they don't have to act on it. OSRIC might be below the level concern for WotC and if they don't say anything public about it, they might not have to "do" anything about it. By leaving...

Battle Graph -- in my hands

I had my first game play test of the Battle Graph tiles last night. We had a nice large space battle right from the top. I drew in the cliff side and water line the terrain demanded. The battle was going fine... 2 knights with cohorts, a noble elf mage, a druid, a dwarven fighter and a kender...

DDI Changes - PH3 Previews! New price

I'm not a 4e player.. so I won't get into the whole discussion on the price point. For me, IMHO, the price isn;t worth it for reasons beyond the scope of this discussion. HOWEVER, I think WotC has done a pretty good thing with the PH3 information coming out through the DDI. It's a clever way...

How many DM's have actually run a published Adventure Path?

I've run my group through the first two volumes of the Dragonlance Age of Mortals campaign. It's been a pretty long haul... I want to say about 3 years. But we take breaks in our campaigns and are currently in the middle of four campaigns... any two of which are run every other week.

Battle Graph -- in my hands

Got my 3 sets last night and I'm pretty impressed. Each tile fits easily with the next. In a quick set up, the dry erase marker went on and erased cleanly without a problem. For me, 3 sets works pretty well given the size of my gaming table. In two weeks, my regular Sunday night game reverts...
