I agree with the others about this... Monte's ranger is to fix the 3e one, not the 3.5e one. So, if you're playing 3.5e, then he uses the 3.5e ranger. Plain as that. However... and here comes the shameless self-promotion part of my post... if you want, I have created my own variant of the 3.5e...
