You cast as well as a wizard, except you get full BAB, better hit dice, and some nifty abilities. It is better than a vanilla wizard in every way EXCEPT, familiar progression and the free metamagic feats every 5.

My favorite class I've ever played would be (at 10th): Illumian Rogue 1\Wizard 6\Lore Delver 3 With the Krau and Naen Sigils, Able Learner and other feats to taste. I was able to be both the wizard (full CL, 1 spell level behind) and the rogue. He was a lot of fun to play

Seems like a full caster level Loredelver to me...but not as good in spell selection, better in # of spells per day and is a spontaneous caster.

Power Attack isn't banned in our game, but it is nerfed to 1-1.5 ratio, instead of 1-2 with a 2 handed weapon. So dropping 2 into power attack yields 3 extra damage, etc.

My DM won't allow Abjurant Champion. He and one of the other players are the only ones who I have seen complain about it however.

If they release 40 a year (which was mentioned previously as what they do for metal), they'll be less then 25% as many as DDM. Which means they won't be "large selection". I can't imagine they will be "ebay orc" cheap either. But we'll see in another 4 or so months I guess.
