I think it would have been very clever of them to have had the large, fold out printed map with all the 'secret' locations missing, and only in the campaign guide itself have the smaller version of the maps with the 'secret' locations marked. That way, you could have your big map up on the wall...

Sorry my diagram sucks I know. I didn't realize that it works as long as you get 'closer'. I thought it had to be 'the closest square,' but in 4E and some weird math that might mean the same thing. Brain hurts and it's late.

The way I saw it in my minds eye was a sort of throw the Rogue was performing, pulling the enemy into his space and then throwing him behind. I'll have to think about it some more, you may be right, it's bending the rules.
