    Little Known Rules of D&D

Well, what feats did this person use in order to do this? Improved Natural Attack does not state that it can be taken multiple times. Monkey Grip specifically states that its benefits work for melee weapons only, which means that it won't work on a monk's fists. What other feats might this...

    Detect Evil on Acheron

In 3.x, Acheron doesn't have an evil descriptor, it isn't described as "Mildly Evil-aligned", just "Mildly Law-aligned". However, the DMG does say that the River Styx flows through it, and it exclusively uses the "Hellish Encounters" table for random encounters (as opposed to Mechanus, which...

Is tracking across the planes possible?

Well, as said before, the PCs could be tracked via the mundane method of the Track feat up to the portal. Analyze Portal (in Planar Handbook, 3rd level spell for bards, sorc/wiz) could tell them everything about the portal they would need to know in order to continue the pursuit into Sigil.

Does a Charmed Monster / Person gain experience?

Cohorts and xp (XP that the PC recieved) x (cohort's level)/(PC level) = Cohort's xp I hate the minutia of experience points.

What would YOUR World of Darkness look like?

Considering state my homebrew campaigns with my players, my World of Darkness would be something that no one would ever choose to play :P I'd probably make a post-Apocalypse/Gehenna/Reckoning/Ascension/Time of Judgment sourcebook called the The Era After. Since certain elements of the...

    Little Known Rules of D&D

Your example is of a situation that cannot exist in the core RAW. In order for said halfling to have a +5 modifier, she would have to have a 20-21 Intelligence, which is impossible because no core race has a +2 modifier to Intelligence. Not only that, there is a flaw in your logic. A...

    Dragonkin+Monkey Grip=best DPS?

Maybe I'm missing something, but how exactly is the dragonkin wielding a "GARGANTUAN GREATSWORD"? Dragonkin are large monstrous humanoids, so the monkeygrip feat would allow him to use a huge greatsword.

D&D 3.x The 4E Monster Manual -- what 3.5 monsters need the axe?

Outsiders from the Outer Planes - I bet all of them will get reworked similar to the way as the fiends. Since core setting is "points of light", I hope that very few good aligned creatures make it into the 4e MM.

What old setting would you like to see republished?

OMFG! Why didn't I ever think to run a d20 Modern campaign set in the G.I. Joe universe? All of us fanboys from the 80s would have a blast creating our own Joes to fight along side Duke, Scarlet, and Snake Eyes whilst trouncing Cobra Commander, Destro, Dr. Mindbender, and Serpentor. That idea...

    Dragons and Permanancy

Limited Wish states that when duplicating a spell with an XP cost, "you must pay the cost or 300xp, whichever is more".

D&D 4E Hate or aggro rules in 4e

Besides the Knight's "aggro" abilities, the Goad feat in Miniatures Handbook and later in Complete Adventurer does this as well.

    Dragons and Permanancy

Why not? The simple answer is that dragons cast as sorcerers, and if permanency doesn't appear on the spells known list then they can't cast it. I gave a cursory glance through the Draconomicon and didn't see any with Permanency on their spell list. Could they? If Permanency and the spells...

Do you still use your 3.0 books?

During 3.0, I really didn't have that much spending money to spend on books, so the only 3.0 books I had (besides core) were Book of Vile Darkness, Manual of the Planes, Monsters of Faerun, MM2. I still use at least one of them in some form or another in most sessions. I also have the d20 Call...

Racial insults for humans to toss at non-humans

In one of my campaigns, a player was playing a half-orc. Whenever the PCs had to parley one of the orc clans, the orcs referred to the half-orc as "half-man"

What do you plan on doing for your last 3.x campaign?

I plan on playing my current Planescape campaign until the introduction of 4e. The PCs are 5th level (started at 3rd) and I'm going to see how high they can get before July of next year comes around. When the campaign started, we voted that the format of the campaign would be mostly episodic...

Tell me about YOUR DARKSUN campaign

Yeah, Dark Sun isn't for every group. My biggest change was in making the Tyr region and surrounding livable areas much larger. I never liked how closely packed and densely populated the city-states seemed for a desert region where each day was supposed to be a struggle for the basics of food...
