You could also set the DC easier than you'd normally expect if you just say there's stuff on the ceiling to hang on to. Hooks for hanging stuff, rafters, old tapestry anchors, chandeliers (sp?).

I'm always up for more monsters, especially if they're mostly Heroic tier. The counters would be nice, too. Unfortunately, I may just wait until they drop into DDI. Counters are only so much use when you DM online and have no scanner.

I think your order of operations is right. I always thought just the [W] got maximized, but I can't find a source for that right now. Also, based on the Compendium, Hunter's Quarry and Warlock's Curse have pretty much the same wording now. I assume the errata document says the same thing, but...

I wouldn't send them in at all unless you just want to spectacularly kill all your characters. If that's your plan, then the level doesn't really matter. Its an entertaining read, but the whole place is just a bunch of one-room TPKs.

I started with ScreenMonkey and I really just can't recommend it. I don't know where all the talk about programming is coming from for MapTool. All I've ever done is make up some basic die macros and everything works fine for me. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. :)
