That is one of the main things to do with a wizard, as he has a small amount of spells he can memorise. Scrolls for the utility spells that you will use once in a while or are very specific. Wands for the combat oriented spells, these are the spells you want to have a boatload of when you need...

As far as I can see you are A bit low on the offensive side. I would take 1 or 2 other offensive spells. Preferably of an other energy type. just my 2 cents.

And what happens when a monk attacks with his unarmed strike?? Does he inflict normal damage or normal damage and fire/cold damage?? And again the same question with any other class that attacks with a normal melee weapon??
