The PHB doesn't explain how to handle any rules violation because that is something that each group decides for themsleves how they will deal with.

Hriston, this is how I would adjudicate it. The "If...on your turn" tells me to check at the end of the turn to see if the trigger has been met. That statement says to me that timing does not matter, only that the Attack action occurred at some point. If it said "After" instead of "If" then...

I don't know all the ins and outs of the rules, so can someone tell me if it is possible to take the Attack action when it isn't your turn?

Pathfinder 2 Character Sheet #3: Valeros, Human Fighter

You don't win a battle by running around. Attacks are inherently worth more than movement because it's the attacks that end a battle. So the PF2 method isn't much different than Full Attacks from 3e/PF1 which similarly discouraged movement.

Pathfinder 2 Character Sheet #3: Valeros, Human Fighter

The designers have said that PF2 will expect the use of a grid for battle, but I'm not seeing anything in these sample PCs that would make grid combat interesting. It looks like you will want to minimize movement because moving directly reduces the number of attacks and shield use you get, and...

Crist are hits by 10 or more. So Reactive Shield can potentially turn a crit into a normal hit.

    D&D 5E (2014) Avoiding Initiative

I absolutely hate how at the moment things should be getting intense the game grinds to a halt to perform purely mechanical bookkeeping. It's even worse when the results don't make sense (such as a the first PC into a room with monsters going last because the player rolled poorly). My approach...

Mike Mearls Happy Fun Hour: The Warlord

So are you opposed to the sorcerer and warlock being included in D&D?

Mike Mearls Happy Fun Hour: The Warlord

Zardnaar, at what point in D&D's history did it become unacceptable to add new content? Oh, please. People today are perfectly capable of reading a description of a warlord or whatever it's called and understanding what its concept is, just as people in the 90's were able to read the 2e PHB and...

Mike Mearls Happy Fun Hour: The Warlord

The cleric wasn't based on the Knights Templar even though the 2e PHB used them as an example. The cleric was something cobbled together at the request of a player in order to take down another player's vampire character in one of Dave Arneson's early campaigns. The cleric doesn't map to popular...

    D&D 5E (2014) OrcPub is Closing Down

You are neither morally or legally obligated to police the opinions stated in this forum. Your suggestion is to violate the law anytime it benefits them and they think they can get way with it. I would hope no one would accept such amoral "advice".

D&D 5E (2014) Point Buy vs Rolling for Stats

You've previously said that you come up with far more character concepts than you'll ever get to play. Not even one of those concepts can work with point-buy?

D&D 5E (2014) Does this exist? List of interesting, random towns.

Donjon does exactly that, as well as tons of other random things.

    D&D 5E (2014) UA: "Greyhawk" Initiative

If the game had been designed to utilize this UA initiative system then trying to use the cyclic system would create all sorts of problems, and it would be legitimate to point those problems out.

    D&D 5E (2014) Why FR Is "Hated"

Even with 2E the PHB explicitly calls out Christian men and organizations as examples of clerics and paladins. For clerics it references the Teutonic Knights, the Knights Templar, and Hospitalers. For paladins it brings up Roland and the 12 Peers of Charlemagne, Sir Lancelot, Sir Gawain, and Sir...
