Yeah, she does. Honestly I think it's just an aversion to weird half-breed characters ... I think I got an overdose of them in an adventure a long time ago and it kind of stuck, haha. Like I said, other than the half-goblin bit I like her, and I can get over that part. :)

They all sound interesting to me. Mina is my favourite, but I'm just a fan of elves and fey in general so there you go. ;) My only hesitation would be with K'Letka, only because of the halfling/goblin thing. Dunno why, particularly. The rest of her sounds fine, and I'd still play in a party...

Ok, got my background done. I took the fighter's history with the village of Thundertree from the starter set and gave it a bit of a twist. ;) I'm thinking Gundren hired Aenwyr as a guide to the area.

Aenwyr the elven druid is posted in the RG. I was planning to do up a background for him tonight, but my brain is fried and it's time for sleep, lol. I may fiddle with his traits/bond a bit too, he feels a bit too stereotypical to me at the moment.

I managed to get Raiyek to level 11, so with one of Voda's characters that's half of a paragon party already. :)

I'm leaning towards the druid myself, probably aim for Circle of the Land (casting specialty).

I'd be quite happy to get L4W running again as well. While 5e is the new shiny thing, there's nothing wrong with 4e. And like I said, I miss my characters a bit, haha. I think it would be just fine to leave the setting for L4W as it was if people are going to pick it up again - either say this...

Personally I really enjoy the Shifting Isles setting, so my thought would be to reuse it. That would also save time compared to developing a new homebrew setting. Not sure about using Daunton/Bacarte again ... perhaps just advance the timeline, Daunton fell into abandonment and then was rebuilt...

As I said in the other thread, I'm interested. :) I'll put together a character sometime tomorrow. I'm thinking of a wood elf, either a rogue or druid. Depends on what others would like to play. Full disclosure: I'm in another PbP going through the Lost Mine of Phandelver on another board...

In the darkness of the night, a ship passes near the old Daunton harbour, a rowboat lands, and a solitary figure disembarks. The boat returns to the ship, which then leaves, an air of disconcerted hurriedness about it. The figure looks about the abandoned, sinking docks and collapsed warehouses...

Personally I'd prefer to create my own character from the full PHB. I've got a few ideas kicking around in my head that I want to try out. :)

I'd be interested as well. :) I've been looking for a 5e game here for a while as well, but keep missing them. I don't have the time to commit to DMing though, unfortunately.
