I agree with a Knowledge (dungeoning) check. If you don't go that way, what is the point of taking the skill. This is the one case where it is useful. If you are very generous, let the fighter roll untrained. But still you are hosing the guy that spends two skill points to buy a Knowledge...

Actually, I was only referencing the 'firing' thread, and I didn't realize it would be so combustible. I'm the one making the decision, so I should have written "After watching that video, my perception is that perhaps I'm no longer part of Wizards' target market."

I didn't say it was in any way personally directed at me. They post marketing material that doesn't appeal to me, implying their product might not appeal to me. Just business, nothing personal.

This elf entry isn't bad. I'm surprised at the +2 Wis as it seems to say that elves are really good clerics. But it makes sense for elven rangers, and fits the perception and enchantment save bonuses they used to get. I'm really surprised at the reroll an attack bit. That seems out from left...

If you stretch the term "hostility" to fit any situation, then yes all comedy is rooted in hostility. As for the clip, I thought it was really lame. The dialog, the attempt at humor, everything. I wish I could have those minutes of my life back.

GURPS measures combat time second by second. That would be one heck of a long battle in game, and in my experience no combat of this magnitude would be resolved that quickly in table time.
