I prefer RPGs to use as much the same terminology as the worlds they take place in as possible, so if Mordenkainen calls them races and WotC calls them ancestries or whatever, that's a minus for me.

Hence why I said it has no place outside fantasy. In D&D it's fine since, unlike Earth, most worlds in D&D have multiple races.

When they do put out a book about the setting, I hope they finally give each Mwangi ethnicity their own entry. The current ones tell us how the people of Avistan have trouble telling them apart, but that doesn't mean the book has to promote that among players by lumping them together!

Going by that description, Ultimate Wilderness will be same old, same old. A new class, archetypes, feats, spells, yawn. Not even a passing mention of something potentially interesting like new subsystems, unless the druid sects go beyond fluff.
