3PP Release New 3PP Release: Thematic Toolkit: Hazardous Knowledge

If you're asking if it'll be back eventually, yes. I just need an LUSRD that points to the artificer and savant to re-emerge on a5esrd.com. Once that happens, I'll reactivate the title.

3PP Release New 3PP release: Manual of Adventurous Resources: Complete! AVAILABLE NOW!

Significant progress update: the interior and cover files have passed DTRPG's pre-publication review and are currently uploading. I should be able to order a print preview in a few days after the publisher does their review.

Level Up (A5E) What's Your Unofficial Errata?

I realize this isn't an option for everyone, but if there's something from a WotC book that I really want for some thematic reason, I'll throw together a new A5E version with the same narrative role/flavor. (A non-trivial amount of content in MoAR and Spells from the Forgotten Vault is borne out...

Level Up (A5E) What's Your Unofficial Errata?

Mine is that anything from WotC books is banned. It's not just animus toward WotC, either. I've found that other stuff based on the OGL is less of a hassle to implement because of the shared 5.0/5.1 SRD baseline.

3PP Release New 3PP release: Manual of Adventurous Resources: Complete! AVAILABLE NOW!

I appreciate everyone's patience! This is the biggest thing of its kind that I've been in charge of, and I have definitely been learning on the fly with it. I will say, though: be patient with crowdfunding projects that go past their estimate. Even working on something really diligently, you'd...

3PP Release New 3PP release: Manual of Adventurous Resources: Complete! AVAILABLE NOW!

The POD version requires two files: a cover template and one that covers the interior pages. As of last night, those are in the hands of the DTRPG publisher reps for review. When they get back to me with an all-clear, the next step is to order some print proofs. Once I have those and I've had...

3PP Release New 3PP release: Thematic Toolkit: Itinerant

Thematic Toolkit: Itinerant is now available! This one contains support for: the cleric, which gets the new Shepherd archetype dedicated to community stewardship. the ranger, which gets the Byway Defender, a knight-errand dedicated to keeping the places between places safe and passable. and...

Level Up (A5E) Every Archetype in A5e AND 3PP

I have a Thematic Toolkit release that will be out in the next few days (possibly even tonight; we'll see what my evening looks like) that has new cleric, esper, and ranger archetypes. :)

Level Up (A5E) My Level Up Campaign has Ended! Level Up Feedback

Not just that, but they also can't contain bulky objects and make bodies stored in them useless for resurrection. I was told to nerf them, and nerf them I did!

3PP Release New 3PP release: Manual of Adventurous Resources: Complete! AVAILABLE NOW!

There are a few things holding up the release at this point: 1. I am putting the finishing touches on the PDF for the printer, which, by the way, is looking amazing. There are a couple of spots where I think it's almost skirting the line between game book and coffee table book in terms of...

Level Up (A5E) The Troll Slayers Power level

As the person to blame for the Troll Slayer archetype, I'm just glad to hear someone is actually playing it! I thought perhaps its weird love/hate troll lore would be too weird to actually get any use.

Level Up (A5E) The Berserker Rage HP Cap Makes No Sense

it's way more flavorful than the old O5E barbarian, too. I really didn't find that class compelling at all. I really like the berserker, though.

Level Up (A5E) One thing A5E could take from OneD&D: Power Sources and Class Groups

That style of index is also going to be in MoAR Complete (but just for its own contents), which I think will keep the number of sources you need to reference to three (the tools site, SftFV, and MoAR Complete) until additional A5E spells from 3PP sources hit the market. However, I...

Level Up (A5E) Updated LU edition following D&D 5.5

Also, this is my own anti-WotC sentiment talking, but WotC will continue to enjoy undeserved relevance if the TTRPG community keeps checking to see what they do and adjusting to match. It's fine to monitor the general state of design, IMHO, but let them go their way as they will and don't worry...

Level Up (A5E) Updated LU edition following D&D 5.5

I can't speak for EN Publishing, but I hope not. I would prefer Level Up stay as separate from D&D as possible going forward, given the stunts that WotC has pulled in just the last year. I think relying on that company for anything is an extremely unwise thing to do at this point. Also keep in...

Level Up (A5E) Ninjas in A5e

Any and all A5E classes with a sufficiently open license are on the table for future motif classes as far as I'm concerned. I have a few ideas that incorporate VRC classes whenever that becomes available.

Level Up (A5E) The Berserker Rage HP Cap Makes No Sense

Why is that a strange assumption? Also, another possibility: future-proofing. This caps extra HP from some hypothetical archetype that focuses on them that could be developed in the future from getting outside acceptable parameters.

3PP Release (3rd Party Book Release) Paranormal Power: A Psionics Option for 5e and A5e, written by Steampunkette!

A little teaser: Next month's thematic toolkit, Itinerant, is Cleric/Esper/Ranger. So look for a new Esper archetype and Esper/Cleric and Esper/Ranger synergy feat chains in that. :)
