I've been into them for around 27-28 years. They've been my primary hobby for at least 20, and I did a TTRPG analysis podcast for 8.5 years. Yeah, I am steeped in them.

I have got such a full production queue right now, so it may be a while before I get to the specific thing anyone wants, but I definitely have a long to-do list to start on once I get the current slate of projects cleared!

I do want to get esper support into the queue, yeah!

Also: with you on the Witch class being its own thing. I want to start doing some thematic toolkit-style products that plug into the new classes folks have been introducing. That'll also give me some options for getting some more of the under-represented classes in there. :unsure:

I mean, if we're going to look at O5E 3PP, the warlock will get way out of control. Red Opera, the Patronomicon and the Compendium of Forgotten Secrets: Awakening probably add around 30 new warlock subclasses just between the three of them. But also: I very much do not consider WotC archetypes...

Also: looks like everyone should take it easy on warlock archetypes for a while. 21? Wow! Most Under-represented classes: Artificer: 4 Savant: 6 Cleric, Sorcerer: 11 Berserker, Druid: 12 Everything else has 14 or more. So to get the classes into parity, we'd need: Adept: 3 Artificer: 17 (!!)...

I have definitely not crossed 50% yet, then. Some of the PMG ones are courtesy of Josh Gentry, and PMG accounts for less than 1/5th of the total in any case.

To the best of my knowledge, that's everyone so far. One of these days I need to figure out what percentage of the total archetypes for A5E I've written. I wonder if I've crossed 50% yet? Some of the GPG and DDG ones were written by me.

One other quick note: there's one more first-party archetype you're missing: Mythological Figures & Maleficent Monsters has a fighter archetype: the Warlord.

Yeah, this is a really good, succinct summary of my own views. I'd also add that you can have someone good at the top and the "squad leaders" (lower management) can also be good and you can still have deep problems in an institution.

The main reason I went with warlock was that this was a specific request from one of my players from my home group; she wanted a spiritualist warlock specifically, so that's what I built.
