3PP Release Available Now: Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 1

That's the plan but the PDF will be available much sooner than the physical book. I can go into the "inside baseball" of it if folks are interested, but the short version is that there's an additional proofing and checking process that goes with physical releases that takes weeks, whereas a PDF...

3PP Release Available Now: Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 1

Really scrambling to get this put together. I expect to spend most of my waking hours this weekend on it. I think at this point we're going to miss getting it out by the end of April, but there's some chance I might be able to have it done on Tuesday.

3PP Release Available Now: Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 1

I can confidently say that it will be upwards of 60 pages in length, and yes, there will be art in it; if you've seen my other recent releases you have a good idea of what to expect visually. How much upwards of 60 is going to depend on a number of factors; I lay things out for maximum...

3PP Release Available Now: Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 1

Hopefully before the end of the month, but possibly early May; I have a couple odds and ends that still need to happen, but it's definitely coming along nicely.

3PP Release Available Now: Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 1

Here's an example copy-pasted out of my working document. The Devotee of War concept is just one of six for that specific combo, but this will give you a sense. I will also say for the record that the level of specificity varies; sometimes you've got so many different ways the classes can be...

3PP Release Available Now: Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 1

The best way to do it is 3 levels of one class, 3 levels of the other, then advance one of them to 4 so you get the ASI/feat pick right after you qualify (and then probably advance the other to level 4 so you get the second one). Unless you're playing with a house rule that decouples ASIs from...

3PP Release Available Now: Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 1

You can get the first synergy feat at level 7 (3 levels of class A and 4 levels of class B) and the second at level 8 (4 levels of class A and 4 levels of class B) remember: ASI/feat opportunities are tied to class level, not character level. But yes, they definitely assume your campaign gets...

    D&D 5E (2024) Here's The New 2024 Player's Handbook Wizard Art

I mean, for a while the stereotypical wizard garb was dark-colored robes with stars on them, so I think evoking the night sky (and probably astrology) may be part of it?

    D&D 5E (2024) Here's The New 2024 Player's Handbook Wizard Art

Stuff I like about this: Hey, cool, a non-white, non-male character that actually looks formidable! The glasses. Even if your spells make your eyes glow, that doesn't necessarily mean it fixes your vision. Wizards could easily get a bit myopic from all the reading of small type in poor...

3PP Release New 3PP Release: Spells from the Forgotten Vault!

Those are already more-or-less bundled in MoAR Complete (with the exception of Sanctified Steel which is in Sinuous Sentinels and will also be in Multiclasser's Manual, Volume 1). I like referencing them in my archetypes, so I keep reprinting them. ;)

3PP Release New 3PP release: Manual of Adventurous Resources: Complete! AVAILABLE NOW!

With the Stitcher archetype out there and the story of Frankenstein's monster? Doesn't feel that weird to me. YMMV, obviously, but I think it fits within the normal spectrum of influences.

I'd actually put it in transmutation, based on the description.

    Level Up (A5E) A5E + alt-5E = ?

Yeah, that sounds like standard player catastrophizing. To the fighter: "Dude, have you looked at everything else you get now? You will not lack for ass-kicking. Don't worry about that." To the druid: "Oh, so you didn't notice the fact that you can talk and cast (some) spells while wildshaped...

3PP Release New 3PP release: Manual of Adventurous Resources: Complete! AVAILABLE NOW!

If you're finding it crippling and your GM agrees, you could also just houserule that unliving are healed by magic as if they lacked the undead type for your campaigns. I doubt that'd be game-breaking.

    Level Up (A5E) A5E + alt-5E = ?

I would think that fighters and druids are also less nasty (or at least less explosive) than their O5E versions.

    Level Up (A5E) A5E + alt-5E = ?

On the character side, subclasses/archetypes from other 5e variants will work just fine with no modifications in A5E classes well over 90% of the time. Even the exceptions will need just a little bit of tweaking. I did a whole, extensive breakdown of the player side of things a while back as a...
