    Do a lot of tables not let them make Death saves, or use Hit Dice to heal during a short rest, or heal to full overnight? If 0 hp = dead for a pet then yes everything is squishy. Try playing the Wizard in a 0=dead game.

    Usually start with 2 top tier maneuvers (Precision Attack, Riposte) and a damage adder. Then fill in with situational maneuvers at 7th and 11th. Eventually use can have 9 (or 11) of the 16. Nothing wrong with having variety.

    I knew I was missing something. Since the Berserker should be part of a lower magic campaign an option for Exhaustion would be a great idea. I agree that low magic is supposed to mean there are serious effects that you don't just use magic to fix.
