Magic. they take human shapes... and so probably can make their look as they wish. With the aura of specialness that must be around them, they are probably... strangely fascinating, even very attractive if they wish.

There is an emphasis on making simple monsters - that you can fleshen. The problem is the reverse also - too much fluff and all applied, often.

And how about the ones who wanted serious changes, not just minor or changes for change? What about the ones who find them reducdant or useless? Why should WOTC tailor the game according the wish of everyone?
