How do you take another classes paragon path?

Except that your paragon path powers are not among the powers of your class. If your ranter takes a fighter multiclass and then the Pit Fighter paragon path, then you can swap out your ranger powers with those of the fighter... but the Pit Fighter powers aren't fighter powers nor are they...

    Sleeping in armor?

Swimming is an athletics check, which is a physical skill and therefor takes an armor check penalty for heavy armors.

    D&D 4E 4E errata up on wizards.com

I'd say that a cloud being positioned on someone counts as them entering the cloud, but not if the cloud merely passes over them during a move action.

How do you take another classes paragon path?

Yup. When you multiclass, you count as that class as far as feats and paragon paths are concerned.

    D&D 4E 4e and save or dies.

Well, Orcus is meant to be a serious challenge for 30th level characters.

    Attribute scores don't make sense

I would roll my eyes at you, but that's bad manners. Instead I'll sigh at you and shake my head. I never suggested that the six stats cover the full spectrum of human ability. Hell, the greater number of stats in Fallout and their d10 basis likewise don't cover the gamut of human existence...

    D&D 4E 4e and save or dies.

By the time you face Orcus, you have abilities that turn death from a problem to an inconvenience.

    Attribute scores don't make sense

You've never had a character with bad stats? A character with nothing but good stats is a literal paragon, a shining hero, and about as interesting as a cardboard cutout. With bad stats, it gives you a chance to explain why a character is good at some things but terrible at others. It goes...

So Combat Challenge triggers OA against OA triggered by allies?

The fighter only gets one immediate action per round, so it's not quite as awesome as you might think. Otherwise, yeah, triggering an OA from a mob should allow a fighter to get in a free hit. The mob doesn't have to take the OA.

    Dragonborn, Wintertouched & Lasting Frost

If the party deliberately self-optimizes in that way, the DM could easily fix it by throwing frosty mobs at them.

    Sleeping in armor?

I wouldn't say no penalty for leather. It's not like sleeping in a leather jacket on a fine, italian leather sofa. A boiled leather cuirass would be like sleeping in an old boot. Perhaps one for leather or hide, two for chain or scale, three for plate.

    Dragonborn Paladin starting stats

Depeneds, really. The extra +1 to hit definitely helps, but +2 to Con and +1 to wis is nothing to cry about. The extra con gives him 2 HP and a whole healing surge and the extra wisdom boosts the effects of his powers. Question: Which is better? Answer: Yup.

    Holy CARP that's awesome!

    The Star Pact Handicap

You have a pact that puts a premium on maximizing one stat, a second pact that puts the premium on maximizing another stat, and a third pact that prefers a balance between the two. Works for me.

    firing into melee combat

And part of the philosophy of 4e was that any feat necessary to make a build viable should just be part of the build or gone entirely. Thus allies don't cover enemies and spellcasters don't need concentration.

    Multiclass Rules

I hated everything I knew about 3rd edition multiclassing; it always seemed tailored to munchkins with roleplaying a distant fourth or fifth place. Being able to do two things professionally should be hard. It should take real cost to do that. If you want to be a true multiclass, giving up...

    Stealth in Combat

Scenario 1 You watch as I run into a stand of trees and brush, 20'x20'. You know where I am, generally, but can no longer see me. You fire off an arrow and, by chance, hit me. In this case, I made a stealth roll, you failed to beat it. You then attacked at -5 and hit. Scenario B I jump over...

Rogue: Wielding dagger, offhanding shuriken? No penalties?

Only powers; only the ranger is a two-hander in this edition, when it comes to attacking. Everyone else puts their attacks on one leg.. er, hand at a time.

    Sleeping in armor?

I'd say that rest in armor isn't as restful, so you don't get all your healing surges back. Maybe you lose one or two?

    Paladin and Lay on Hands.

Paladins get proficiency in plate armor for free; they don't need to meet the str and con requirements for the armor proficiency feat. They need them to fill their role as a defender, of course, just not to wear the armor.
