Not DA/Bioware/EA. Looks like the spambot just grabs some random text relevant to the conversation, posts that, and then puts a spammy link in the signature line.
Wealth isn't linear, so giving five people a +4 bonus actually represents less money, in game, than a +20 bonus for one person.
The best way of handling monetary rewards is to pick a dollar amount, have the party divide it up however they want, and then for each player translate that dollar...
Agreed-- a true "Pathfinderization" of d20M shouldn't create anything that looks especially like pathfinder. The point of d20M is that it's its own system--there's no reason for anything more than loose compatibility with pathfinder, just as there wan no reason for anything more than loose...
Well, Here's a start:

Psionic Heritage: You gain a bonus psionic feat at 1st level. You must meet the feat's...
I was not, no. I imagine if someone was otherwise satisfied with the game but wanted a bit more combat cruch, they'd have fun with the Factbook. Esoterrorists just wasn't going where I wanted it to go for the game I was running.
Don't get me wrong, it's still a pretty nice system in many...
I'd been using Esoterrorists to run my Dark•Matter game, but while alright for one-shots and short campaigns, I don't think it really held up for the long run, and I ended up switching to Alternity.
The game's advancement structure heavily favors increased generalization rather than...
See, I make the best of a bad situation by swapping dice with the GM when he isn't looking. That way, either the monsters start rolling terribly, or I've encouraged my dice to roll well again (and subsequently steal them back)
Yep. Someone over at the messageboards has worked out a special character-free no-colors required notation*, but I figured I might as well make use of enworld's capacity to prettify.
* under that notation, the above dice roll would be:
<BB>[Y](G)<P>[BB]
The nice thing about WFRP3e is that you can build a perfectly valid character with no recharging actions (well, it'd be awkward to build a character without any of the active defenses, but I doubt you'll much mind the recharge on those).
Once you've got your race and your career, you have a...
JRR, I wince when I read your comments. There are a few good reasons why someone might want to avoid this game, but disliking the dice system isn't one of them.
FFG is selling separate die sets, so your concerns about replacement are unfounded. And sure, if you leave your dice at home you...
Sorry, I was being imprecise here. D&D has many complicated corner cases and a great deal of emergent complexity, where WFRP does not. But an understanding of those hidden complexities isn't really required to play a simple sword & board fighter.
But when it comes to the basics, there's not a...
Rodney's review is a good one. (Excepting, of course that I have to open Internet Explorer to read it--WotC's blogware is lately incompatible with my Firefox).
Howver, neither I nor the various folks I've played with had any trouble with the Dice Pools--Though most have experience with White...
Don't think there's a published range. The game is slightly less complex than 3e/4e D&D in play, but the rules aren't laid out with anything close to the same clarity. The more tactile interaction means that it will be easier for some and harder for others, depending on learning style. Still...
Here's an idea: What about a series of riddles tied to the theme of virtue (though, to make it easier on the riddle author, perhaps the answers need not be virtues themselves, followed by one open ended question.
Ewell Shadowglade, Elf, Male
Holiday Borgunn, Dwarf, Male
Matthais P. "Sharpshot" Smith, Human, Male
Sir Gareth of the Rock, Human, Male
Fetch, Changeling, Male
Tam Li, Human, Male
Finnegan Takamura, Human (Tuatha Scion), Male
The only really boardgame-like aspect of it is the components. It might feel a little unusual if you've only ever played your games with books and dice, but if you're used to power cards in D&D4e, or the cards and chips of savage worlds, then you'll get used to it pretty quick.
Just to follow up on this, here are the expected successes and expected boons/banes for the various dice:
Successes:
Blue +1/2
Red/Green +3/4
Purple -3/4
White +1/3
Black -1/3
Yellow +1/2
Boons(+)/Banes(-):
Blue +1/4
Red/Green +1/8
Purple -1/2
White +1/6
Black -1/6
Yellow +1/2
Notes:
