Spelljammer Is Spelljammer Coming To D&D 5E?

I wasn't expecting Spelljammer at all. To be honest I expected Eberron or Greyhawk even Nentir Vale first. Well heck maybe we are getting all of them/

Pathfinder 2 Updates -- How Big Should The Bestiary Be? New Initiative System? ... And Other Stories

The size of the Bestiary is an interesting question. I think a good balance of different kind of monsters more than quantity is more helpful. If more pages mean more different types and level ranges of monsters then yes make it bigger.

Pathfinder 2E New or returning players: an “on-ramp”?

I only played Pathfinder once when it first came out. In this regard I consider myself a new player. A year before 5th Edition released I wanted to get in to it but the huge amount of books scared me off. So I see the new edition as an oportunity to dig in. Personally I like what little they...

From 7 Action Types To Pathfinder 2's New 3 Action Economy

In the glasscanon podcast i loved when the wizard casted. One action for each component. Verbal one action, somatic one action. The fact that there are spells with one component only (one action) allowed for two spells casted. Very dynamic I like it. Harder spells with verbal, somatic and...

[UPDATED] Most D&D Players Prefer Humans - Without Feats!

In the games I have been dm for 5th edition only one player used a feat as a variant human. My players in the other hand stayed away from elves, halflings and dwarves and favored gnomes, tieflings and dragonborns. Only one played a human and was the same who used a feat.

Taking A Look At The "New" POD Versions of Star Frontiers And The D&D Rules Cyclopedia

I got the POD hardcover of Star Frontiers: Alpha Dawn, the other Star Frontiers book (Knight Hawks) is also available in print on demand as is one or two of the adventures. I love the quality of it, to be honest, I was really surprised with the quality of the product.

D&D 5E (2014) Magic Initiate - A guide to an underestimated (and cool) feat

Yah we are thinking along the same lines. I think the problem is the feats are balanced not again other feats but against the fact that you need other feats as requirements. I think this might be slightly op only in the case of the variant human but will have to play test it to check out.

D&D 5E (2014) Magic Initiate - A guide to an underestimated (and cool) feat

Oh wow! Yah I can see. Thanks for sharing it. Maybe a chain of four feats was overkill but they can still make a second tier slightly based on this that gives two lvl 1 spells and a lvl 2 from the same list as Magic Initiate and having Magic Initiate as requirement. Maybe three spells is OP...
