There was a thread or two a long time ago (it seems) about having classes act as templates and have the creature type act as the factor that changes when leveling up. Is there still anyone working on this? Any thoughts/ideas?

If I wanted them to start at a lower level (say, 8th) and wanted to, with the most rapidity and enjoyment, shuffle them up to starting level, say 13th?, what would y'all suggest?

I'd be interested in seeing your write up for that, KaeYoss. I find that the only thing that keeps me from being really happy with RPGs in general is not getting something neat at each level. Makes me want to make new characters all the time, try new stuff out.
