Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks Talks AI Usage in D&D [UPDATED!]

Hasbro CEO Chris Cocks Talks AI Usage in D&D [UPDATED!]

The older I get, the less straightforward thing become. Before I retired, I initiated and commanded several Human Trafficking crackdowns. We put violators in jail, eventually prison, and shipped victims home. The unsettling part of the business, was that the victims were more upset than the...

Speaking as someone who has commissioned art for book covers, there is nothing fast or cheap about artists. Whereas I came up for a custom image as a prop for my last campaign in two tries and in five minutes, using a free online AI. All six of my players used AIs to generate their PC images...

Players Don't Care About Your Setting

Largely true. My group is great, but the only setting issues they really pay attention to are the points where setting and mechanics/challenges intersect.

    The Six Tasks to Wisdom

Nah. Just a series of generic tasks to prove the PCs 'worthy'.

    The Six Tasks to Wisdom

Yeah, I forgot that. Not Honor in the game mechanic sense.

    The Six Tasks to Wisdom

Anyway, I'm looking at starting my next campaign, 50-ish weekly sessions in a low-magic fantasy in Kenzer's Garwheeze Wurld, using Hackmaster rules. Basically a standard old-school fantasy world, low-magic, with the traditional 'entire race is evil, no exceptions' standard. The PCs will start...
