This was the first Mongoose game I've picked up since...I guess the first Babylon 5 RPG (which was pretty good), and I really wish I would have passed on it. Nothing terrible, but nothing really great either.

UHm...how do you figure? If WotC released old edition material, it would indeed be competing with their flagship line (and likely cause confusion with players that have only played 3.x). I'm all for supporting your favorite game, but this is getting silly.

Amen. While I find the pricing of the pdf to be outrageous, I'm not angry at the NG folks at all. It's just too pricey for me. I'm just not the target demographic on this one is all. No harm no foul in that regard.

Uh wow. That's just f****** assinine. If for nothing else DTRPG doesn't get my business just because of the prices of the pdfs. If they were priced decently, like even $30 for GoT for instance, I would consider it. But $99 for an e-book is just plain stupid.

Just as long as I can easily use the UAA with it, I'll be happy. That's the first hurdle that have to be jumped in order to get me to buy into the Saga Edition. So far, Rodney has me intrigued. I'd love to help playtest this sucker! (hint, hint, nudge, nudge... :D )

This year just Exalted 2E and the new RuneQuest for non-d20. For D20: True 20 and Spycraft V2. I'm pretty much got all I need in D20, but I will take a look at other games from time to time.
