aside from the epic spells i enjoy the rest of the book quite a bit. but epic spells/spellcasting is so far from workable it's sad. blows too, that was the part of the book i was looking forward to using most.
This discussion came up in recent gaming. I guess it is a hold over from 2ed and darksun perhaps (one of the reasons demons weren't in darksun or something). One of the group members swears demons (evil outer planers in general) are immune to telepathy and by that other psionics. anyone know...
This is the one thing i don't understand more people using. I just don't understand the "my players refuse to do..." post. i understand about game harmony but you are the dm. act like it. :D
There was talk of an alternate method for handling meta magic feats in a recent issue of dragon. For those that have it/saw it what isse was it and what were the general opinions of it and the mechanics behind it?
anyone? anyone?
Thanks!
sounds great. this book sounds like it is going to be just the thing we are looking for at this juncture in our campaign. we have just crossed over into the epic realm and are looking to do some planar/divine heavy stuff.
really looking forward to it UK ! :D
what is the cost for this? in 3.0 it seemed to be a 5000 gp cost for magic items that granted feat use, i.e. sword grants blindfighting when wielded etc. so i'm looking at the 3.5 srd and it makes no mention of the cost of this. not that it expressly set a cost in the 3.0 dmg. any ideas...
Tolkien had many elven kings. I believe more kings than queens but I haven't sat down and counted. Thingol, Finwe, Feanor, Gil-Galad, many more that's just off the top of my head.
Down with elven matriarchy!!!!
Ok ogl gurus with the new "comics code" aspect to the d20 license and avalance moving to just doing ogl what does that mean for the gamers? what are the hows and why's of the 2 and what are the strengths/weakness of releasing under one or the other? does this make any sense? any help?
Thanks!
as a side note and theory i really think the steel regent is losing it. things i have read in dragon and dungeon suggest that she is losing her temper more often and flying into rages.
for a real interesting campaign having the regent become a tyrant and the pretender not any better makes...
