Here's my 2cp: never play for 15 hours straight, and NEVER do a climactic battle after playing for 15 hours straight. I wish I could really answer your question, but I've got no idea.

wow, that option didn't even occur to me! Anyways, i prefer simplicity in polls over complete accuracy, so just pick whatever you use MOST. So, if you have 100 prepainted minis and 5 ones you painted yourself, just put "prepainted minis". I'm really surprised how many people use minis.

I guess the main jist of the question was whether or not people use markers (miniatures or otherwise) or if they leave it to the imagination. Yeah, I should have had a "i use a combination" option, but too late now.
