Magus, touch attacks and Elemental Touch

Let us know how it turns out.

    Death or Glory (feat)

If it left them flatfooted, then I'd be sure to have most large creatures also be master thieves or ninjas, because that's just how I roll. Oh, and they'd all be sap-masters. Or is it Master Saps?

    Death or Glory (feat)

I'd say that Power attack couples one part of it (going all out to murderdeathkill) and something that lowers your AC is the other part, (like not going defensive). There's your mechanics and RP all in one. No need for a feat, tbh. Much like Prone Shooter.

Magus, touch attacks and Elemental Touch

Where exactly would you be drawing this house-ruled line?

Magus, touch attacks and Elemental Touch

I don't think you can call it a houserule when the actual RAW says only "touch" and Elemental Touch is "Personal". Thus, Elemental Touch is not a spell that can be delivered via Spellstrike. And yes, as long as you have touch spells, you can Spellstrike but honestly given its limiations, it's...

Magus, touch attacks and Elemental Touch

We ruled that "touch" means "touch" because that came up and oddly, the magus player was the one arguing for strict interpretation. And bear in mind that the free touch attack per round thing lasts only as long as the magus has memorized spells, which are being consumed by the attack. Also...

    Death or Glory (feat)

That's not true. After all, So, Trailblazer anyone?

    Death or Glory (feat)

This. Remember the whole brouhahha over 3.x classes being front/backloaded?

Heh, you made me run to look though :)

Pathfinder 1E Which Pathfinder Resources are "Must Haves?"

Couple it with Combat Manager if you use a laptop at the game. Actually, even if you're a player but can have a laptop at the game, you should run Combat Manager just for the rules lookups.

    Death or Glory (feat)

Let me stop you there, Stream. All I know is that when I play a paladin, nothing says role-playing like being able to speak the language of Heaven, when I'm not dead from poison, sickened from ill-kept food, mind-controlled, dead from a fireball, turned to stone, actually make that dead from...

Review of Pathfinder: Ultimate Combat by Paizo

Eh, I'd research this one before I bought it. It's not the automatic purchase that something like Advanced Player's Guide is, IMO.

    Death or Glory (feat)

The target gets to hit you more easily than if you hadn't used this, doing more damage than if you hadn't used this, and should the target crit, having a better chance to confirm the crit than if you hadn't used this. It should be named the P.T. Barnum feat.

    Death or Glory (feat)

You forgot the horrible editing, something like 20% of the book was devoted to magic spells when they said in Ultimate Magic that, "Also, unlike the present book, Ultimate Combat focuses on nonmagical matters," the introduction of mechanically questionable subsystems (also known as Chapter 5), a...

Pathfinder 1E Which Pathfinder Resources are "Must Haves?"

Neat, I hadn't realized Crystal wrote The Harrowing. Crystal writing anything is anything but harrowing.

Pathfinder 1E Which Pathfinder Resources are "Must Haves?"

That actually sounds like a fun campaign. I can't speak for others, but for me, "broken" doesn't just imply over-powered. It means that it is broken mechanically - it doesn't do what it intends, it makes you worse for using it (unless that was an express goal), it makes you better for using it...

What 3.X/D20 Material Do You Use With Pathfinder?

I honestly never used the Mass Battle Rules, but had a blast playing a Marshall. I also played a Battlefield Medic, which I believe was also out of that book. In fact, I'd looked at using both in Pathfinder, but I understand there are some newer versions that may be more useable.

    Cleric and spellcasting

Or, "Get busy living, or get busy dying!" Or, "I may have found a way out of here!" Or, "What we got here is... failure to communicate!" Or, "Attica, Attica!"

Pathfinder 1E Which Pathfinder Resources are "Must Haves?"

For the core books, certainly the core rulebook. The APG is a nice addition that introduces mechanics that have sort of defined how Pathfinder is striking out on its own, such as archetypes. The GameMastery Guide is useful even for experienced GMs (although naturally it's less useful the more...

Get player buy-in, or surprise them?

True story. I was a player in a new campaign that by the 5th session had us harassed and chased by the evil yet omnipresent church in the country we started in. So we were looking at having to essentially conduct a hide and fight guerrilla war against overwhelming odds and without any...
