I'd hope there will be some deck building rules... otherwise stacks of nothing but what you need will be in there. I'd also hope that the DM would get to use them too...one for each bad guy otherwise the power curve just tipped farther to the players.

If you just want to try the game out, I too suggest Kobold Hall. If you want to play a real adventure with plot hooks, reasons for being there, etc, then check out Slaying Stone, an excellent adventure.

I am thinking that WoTC is done with versions, so we will never see 5.0 come out. A new D&D game will come out, but it will be something like "D&D - Fantastic Journeys" or something like that.

Save/Load coming anytime soon? This is nice for one time character generation, but for a campaign use it's terrible. Having to rebuild my character each time I want to change something isn't pleasant.

I have played at a table with a female DM a few times... I really wish more would give it a try. I suspect perspectives on story that perhaps males might miss could come to the surface.

Curious why this is posted in the Pathfinder section. You might also get more feedback if you included your location. I run a Encounters program at our FLGS with moderate success, we have 4-5 tables per week running since the program started, with mostly the same players.

I think the cards are going to be very similar to the "twitter buffs" we see in D&D Encounters right now. Something temporary that affects the combat mildly (e.g. fog rolls in, everyone has partial cover)

Very cool Thanks for putting this up. I am playing around with it now and it looks pretty good so far. (Edit: Halflings do only go 20', I misremembered). One BIG feature I would want to see soon, the ability to save off and load back up a character so that I could level up in a campaign.
