    Average length of campaigns?

I was once involved in a Star Wars (d6) campaign, first as a player but I took over as GM eventually, that ran from 1989 to 1995, with a connected one shot played in December 1997 and 1999. My current D&D 3e/3.5e began in June 2000 and is still going strong with no signs of ending soon. hunter1828

Talk about gibberish latin and nothing to do with the topic.

It wasn't funny. It was childish, immature, infantile, idiotic, wasteful, and unneccessary. Kind of like how some people view the BoEF. Oh, wait. That's right. I forgot. It's ok for people on high horses to be hypocritical... I am so freakin' sick of people assuming they know who I am and...

    BoEF... no splash?

Though I don't have the BoEF yet, I do have the GenCon Preview and I have already added stuff from it into my games. I have adopted the Appearance score, the attitudes towards sex for the nine alignments, one NPC has taken the Seductive feat, the deities have been worked into the game (either...

Book of Erotic Fantasy hitting stores...

He did. He provided a link to the Valar Project and directed folks to the forums to ask questions about Anthony Valtera there, where Anthony has answered those same questions before and would again if asked. Just go http://www.bookoferoticfantasy.com, enter the forums and read what AV has had...

Book of Erotic Fantasy hitting stores...

You know, anyone curious about the whole AV/WotC/Valar situation can just go to the Valar Project forms (www.bookoferoticfantasy.com) and ask him. He posts fairly frequently and loves to answer these types of questions. hunter1828

Book of Erotic Fantasy hitting stores...

Does everyone that has playtested anything ALWAYS place that as a qualifier in every post about said products they make? Heck, I bet a lot of people here were playtesters for a lot of different books. Should I immediatly not trust anyone's opinion on any book because they might possibly have...

    BoEF... no splash?

I haven't received any of my three copies yet...hopefully by early next week. The BoEF is the November best seller at FRP Games (www.frpgames.com) and tops the list of Top Selling Items at Sci-Fi Genre (www.scifigenre.com). hunter1828

How good at note-taking are your players?

Ha! That's funny. If I had penny for every time one of the players stopped the game to ask me how to spell something, I could buy all the game books I don't currently have but want! :) I usually just say "Spell it like sounds." and go on. hunter1828

How good at note-taking are your players?

Well, my question, of course, was how good at note-taking are your players, not how detailed is the information you give your players. :) My players are the types that want...nay, demand...that type of information. That get a wicked sort of evil pleasure from asking me the name of every...

How good at note-taking are your players?

My players in past groups were sometimes good, sometimes awful. But my current group is fantastic. They keep track of everything. They have notebooks full of campaign notes, NPC names, locations, etc. They do such a good job that I sometimes find myself asking them "What was that elf's...

    Which Pantheon do you use?

I use the Forgotten Realms for my campaign and thus the FR pantheons, plus non-human deities from the 2e Monster Mythology and 3e Draconomicon. I also selectively use deities from the Book of Exalted Deeds, Book of Vile Darkness and Book of Erotic Fantasy (merging them with similar deities if...

When students in her class don't mark which test questions are the ones they want to count as bonus questions she gets out her d% and rolls randomly to determine which ones are the bonus questions. hunter1828

Do you keep your Players in the Dark?

The group I DM right now doesn't ask these questions, prefering not to overuse game mechanic labels while playing, though they quickly figure these things out after a round or two of combat, hits and misses and failed saves. hunter1828
