The only thing that comes to mind offhand are the weapon focus etc. I'm not 100% sure, but I think you can take weapon focus (fireball). Or maybe there's a separate spell focus that does the similar thing? Hmm. I don't know if Improved Crit (fireball) is acceptible or not. I guess if WF is...

Aye, since 3.5 does away with the whole facing thing, I don't think it would work. And speaking of facing, since there is no "behind you" since there isn't any facing, how do you "sneak up" on someone. It's either ambush from the bushes/around a corner or nothing. Seems quite hard to stalk...

Well, I disagree with this, because, logically, an AND statement means this AND this have to be met else it doesn't work. So it has to be 4th level or lower AND has to be that spell, otherwise the shield is penetrated and the spell goes through

Nod, I almost looked into a TWF rogue to switch between wand/weapon when SA is possible, and wand/wand when not. But the whole "offhand wand takes 2 charges per use" thing kinda turned me off on it. It really depends if your finding alot of useful wands, or have a wiz that doesn't mind pumping...
