    D&D 5E (2024) Will Pact Magic survive?

So, still similar to the 1 cleric. But wrong were it counts. I do wonder what the reaction will be.

    D&D 5E (2024) One D&D Overly Complex

The creeping is there. The simple champion makes the following additional choices: feat at first level. weapons to master at first level (and these can be changed). bonus proficiency at 3rd level (and this can be changed). There are additional weapon mastery choices at higher levels. 2nd wind...

D&D 5E (2014) Lore & Legends Is An Official Visual Guide to D&D 5th Edition

Right, they did the book they would normally do now--and it was awesome--so the focus had to switch. OK. The 30th anniversary book is not quite A&A, but is also pretty frank--yes, there was power creep for 2e, and in fact its almost inevitable as a way to sell supplements. 20th (or 25th?)...

D&D General What is the worst piece of DM advice people give that you see commonly spread?

One that use to be more common--including in the official rules, so not just advice--anything, specifically for D&D, that rewards "roleplaying", that is playing a particular character a certain way. What I do not mean are rewards for the group, or rewards for showing up and playing, nor do I...

Dragonlance Has anyone incorporated Heroes of Krynn boardgame into their Shadow of the Dragon Queen campaign

Big mass battles with hordes of minis are awesome...well they can be. I have done this a few times (so like once a decade) over the years, with the equivalent of heavily house-ruled versions of those rules. EDIT: and I still have the counters, which I have used many times.

OOC: Keys from the Golden Vault

TORDAR might also have a giant raven claw. (He has some kind of totem).

OOC: Keys from the Golden Vault

Oh its TORDAR. Also nomadic, barbaric, something. They could be from the same tribe, or just met as fellow outlanders. Or as fellow outlanders in prison.

    Keys from the Golden Vault

TORDAR--who is not Mr Charisma--winks awkwardly back, sort of like something is stuck in his eye. He also takes note of Nymh--who he has known for some time. At some point he will whisper to him "what are we waiting for?"

D&D 5E (2014) Christopher Perkins Talks About The Return of Vecna, Venger, & More D&D Villains

Thats right and that would make sense, at least for FR or Greyhawk at the 50th anniversary. But plans also change (and in recent months they had said like a thousand times "the multiverse is the setting for 5e").

RG: Keys from the Golden Vault

Nymh and TORDAR could know each other and have some common elements in their background. Though if that is the case--based on the picture--Nymh has changed. You've changed man!

D&D 5E (2014) Christopher Perkins Talks About The Return of Vecna, Venger, & More D&D Villains

The Vecna book is the big 50th anniversary Easter egg fest. I don’t know if we are getting much else, well besides new core rule books. We will see.

D&D General What is the worst piece of DM advice people give that you see commonly spread?

Anything that says the DM should work more (versus good advice, which tells them how to do more with less time). Back in ye olden days, this meant a bias for home-brewing over using modules, as they were called (even though there were excellent modules available, and people played them). Later...

    Keys from the Golden Vault

This is clearly not TORDAR's kind of town. Though with his staff and lack of armor, he might pass as one of the locals. A 6'6" athletic one. At the inn he fidgets, stretches, appreciates the young...people that seem more common here. Is looking to get a drink.

So its: cleric/druid wizard bard rogue? I am thinking, but some muscle might be useful. You can always use muscle.
