My god! That sounds like loads of fun. What's the complaint? If you don't want to have characters die don't adventure. That's the fun of D&D, seeing how well you can stratigize against the DM/Module. I don't know how many times we've effed up a good plan.

I violently rip the taint of Poli from my Dungeon every month. And then burn it. :( I can't stand the thing. When my subscription ends, that's it. I can spend my money elsewhere and get better product.

I wish that Dungeon was only adventures as well. I also wish that they would get rid of Polly and put a world specific adventure in every other issue. Not just the old TSR worlds, but Freeport, Scarred Lands, and Iron Kingdoms too. I wish Dragon had World specific content, too. (other than FR.)

I read Felloship after seeing the movie and thought that the movie was better. I hated many parts of the novel because the movie made events more exiting. One in particular that I will mention is that Gandalf has Frodo leave in the morning, not 30 years later. To me, that was just bad ploting.

The 1e FF is the best monster book . I also Dig the 2e MM and the Planescape Monster books 1 & 2. I've cooled greatly on monsterbooks, I like PC books. Wise and the Wicked is very cool.
