    D&D 5E (2014) Monster to-hit still seems borked.

You know what every monster's AC is as long as you what level it is.

AD&D 2E 2E Core Reprints Due in May

I would prefer black & white for core D&D books (that 2nd Ed blue really put me off), colours cheapen (I guess ironically) the books for me.

    D&D 5E (2014) Magic user back?!

So, should that include Clerics and Druids (as they both use magic)?

    D&D 5E (2014) Frustrated with Next

Ever since playing the 1st play-test packet, as is, we've been very into it, and, as a side-bonus, we find this the easiest edition so far to convert/drop stuff in. i really dig the 5th Ed chassis, after that, everything else is extra (want to play a 3rd Ed Incarnate, fine, a 1st Ed Monk, or...

    D&D 5E (2014) Monster to-hit still seems borked.

What I'm seeing is monster attacks being based on ability scores (good), but with a semi-arbitrary +1 (drow) or +2 (gelatinous cube, hobgoblins) thrown in here or there.

D&D 3.x [3.5] Can you add class levels to all monsters?

In the 3rd Ed Arms and Equipment Guide they have rules for using them as "mounts".

D&D 3.x [3.5] Can you add class levels to all monsters?

Yeah, with Savage Species I made an Anthropomorphic Chicken Monk.

    This Week in D&D

I'm wary of a catch-all "magic user" (though i have no problem calling the wizard that), part of class identity for me is the way they cast/use magic.

    D&D 5E (2014) Monster to-hit still seems borked.

Not sure why they removed the +2 bonus that was in the 1st play-test packet, a minotaur now needs to roll a 16 to hit a mountain dwarf in plate with a shield. I've added it back in (minotaur is +6 to hit, again).

D&D 5E (2014) Make Your Most Broken Character

    1) I thought it stated magic weapons and armour can go to +3? 2) Belt of Storm Giant Strength (29).

    D&D 5E (2014) Too many knowledge skills.

In the film Mask he used heat, a cold stone for blue, hot for red.

    D&D 5E (2014) Dissapointed with Attunement

Yes, i'm another one for 1 Turn (10 minutes, pfft) is not enough to awaken abilities in a magic item, it should be deeper than that.

    D&D 5E (2014) Too many knowledge skills.

Total, it's currently drifting into Origami Lore territory.

D&D 5E (2014) Make Your Most Broken Character

So, mountain dwarf in +3 plate, with a +3 shield, an Ioun Stone, a Ring of Protection, and a Shield spell is AC 30. And +16 to hit (+4 fighter, +9 Str, +3 weapon).

    D&D 5E (2014) Oct playtest magic items are legend---wait for it--ary!

Maybe even less, magic items should not be expected.

    D&D 5E (2014) Oct playtest magic items are legend---wait for it--ary!

It seems 20 is the limit, but if the DM wants to throw in Storm Giant Str, bam, done.

    D&D 5E (2014) Oh Hai Katana!

Okay, now I'm even more intrigued (just like I love pre-Islam Persian religion/mythology).

D&D 5E (2014) October Playtest Packet - Magic Items, Updated XP, Monster Traits

Ah, cool, I can dig it, so Storm Giants are amongst the strongest creatures in the multiverse, the only thing stronger are things like Thor (30 special *winks*).

D&D 5E (2014) How Magical or Non-Magical Should the Monk Be?

I think at this point the monk is not the issue, are you okay? You just come off as a bit passive-aggreisve and bitter, did you have a traumatic experience with the 1st Ed monk? Mod Note: Ladies and gents, this is a classic example of making a discussion personal. Don't do this unless you're...

    D&D 5E (2014) Oh Hai Katana!

That sounds right up my alley and down my street, thanks, I'll check it out. The warrior-monk sounds intriguing, sort of like a templar?
