    Yeah, the declared actions really stank. I like the free flow too. I guess that militates against weapon/caster/armor modifiers because you would necessarily have to declare the action.

    Rapid reload is a good feat. It's helpful for hand crossbows. The goal is not always maximum damage output. Sometimes you want a compact weapon that will do the trick. Shoot more drow-poisoned bolts with Rapid Reload. Long Bows do poorly in the crampt Underdark caves!
