I was just reading a spell last night called Faerie's Gold in a d20 book titled, of course, Faeries. The spell has the effect you're looking for. There was also another that fooled people into thinking certain items were valuable as well. Effects lasted for a few hours.

What's the carrying capacity of these War Dogs? In other War Dog news, I was watching the history channel last night and there was a documentary on the Spanish conquest of the Aztecs. One secret weapon of the Spaniards was the War Dog, complete with armor in some instances.
