dont know if i get it right, but you lost the shiled in battle? IMO, its a risk to be an adventure, and loosing/breaking equipment is "in the pack". so, if i was the DM or group, i woundt give you 25k gp. if so, lets say a caster loose a spell from a scroll, from a misle attack from the enemy...

i was reading the underdark topic, and thought it would be cool to make a adventure where players have to think about food, air, light and stuff. so, what do you think its good "stuff" (itens, materials,etc) to a adventure to bring along when adventuring at the underdark?

i dont have a very good, but we were playing something modern, and the player shoot at a car and it exploded! than, he shoot ate a motocycle...and it exploded! the game master wasnt very reallistic (like we spent 18 hours to get to the top of the statue of liberty)

thanks for the replies i also think that its kind of annoying (sp?) to have too many variations of the same, and even some "opposite" (not for all): i can have "good" and "bad" dragons, or the same for giants and so on.. but i dont like "good" drow, "good" orcs/goblins/hob, etc.. dont know...

does anybody feel that sometimes, theres too many monsters avaible in the world? (any one) i mean, you have lots of undead, lots of elemental, lots of dragon, fayre, and so on.. and the poop monster too! dont get me wrong, i love to have options, but sometimes (for me, at least), too many...
