    Playing Dead

I'd say a Bluff check, opposed by the enemy's Sense Motive check.

    Innate Spell - Prerequisites?

I would say that you have to have the spell slot available to spend. The feat requires you to give up a spell slot to gain your innate spell. But if you're less than 17-18th level, how can you give up something that you don't yet have to give? Allowing you to borrow power, as it were, by taking...

    Funny in-game quotes

My telepath to a monk in our party: "See, I'm the psychic and you, you're the sidekick."

Help picking 4th level arcane spells

Before I start, let me say that I usually play a sorcerer and so my spell picks are probably coloured by that. Personally, I'd go for polymorph other (powerful attack/utility spell), bestow curse (touch range is less-than-optimal, but you can do many fun things with a curse, especially some of...

    Please rate Sculpt Spell

I've found Sculpting a sonic blast into a cone and then Enlarging it pretty handy.

How do you guys do Hps? And why?

Both the DM and the player roll a die, rerolling if less than half the maximum result; take the better result. Generous, but we need it in our campaign.

    Problem: Is Ghostform over-powered?

Also, ghostform is absolutely useless off the Prime Material. Otherwise, yes, it is an extremely useful spell.

    Sorceror Advice

Also, try to find out if you'll be going plane-hopping at any point. Many of the best spells for a Sorcerer don't work off the Material Plane. The Plane of Shadow, for instance, is only coterminous with the Material, so shadow conjuration, shadow evocation, etc. will be useless to you if you're...

Planetouched: do they have a subtype?

Planetouched don't normally have a subtype. However, this doesn't stop you from giving them one. Be aware, though, that the (Fire) subtype does grant immunity to fire, which can be pretty handy (unless you're staring down a white wyrm's gullet, that is).

    Chain Spell Feat?

Ah, someone beat me to it. Well, here goes anyway, since there seem to be a couple on my list that the previous one hasn't got. Technically, Enervation can't be Chained, since it produces an Effect: Ray, rather than specifying a target. Some of my favourites for Chaining are...

Greyhawk being dumped as the core setting in 3.5

The main reason I dislike Greyhawk: St. Cuthbert. I mean, come on. What kind of deity, especially a supposedly badass god of retribution, is called Cuthbert?

    Size Large Monks

A more general rule for bigger monks is: For each size step above Medium size, apply the following rules one time: 1d6 -> 1d8 1d8 -> 1d10 1d10 -> 1d12 1d12 -> 2d8 1d20 -> 2d10 So a Large monk starts with 1d8 damage, finishing at 2d10 damage, while a Huge monk starts at 1d10, finishing at...

    Haste and Full Round Spells

I think the technically correct way would be that you have to use your normal full round (standard action + move-equivalent action) to get the Summon Monster spell off, then you get a partial action from Haste. The summoned creature would then appear next round on your turn.

How Devils Get Ahead In The World

Ah, someone got the reference for once. :) Yep, I was/am a big Lone Wolf fan, but it's also a reference to Starsky & Hutch - the producer's name was Joseph Naar. The bit about the 1001 days was mentioned in Icewind Dale II and I also saw it somewhere else recently, but I can't quite remember where.

    Haste and Full Round Spells

My interpretation would be that you could use the partial action from Haste to start the casting, finish casting on your standard action and then be able to perform a move-equivalent action. I think this may not be entirely correct, since Summon Monster isn't exactly a full-round action, like a...

How Devils Get Ahead In The World

As far as I know, Gelugons that have proved worthy are tormented for 1001 days in a pit of flames. Those that survive become Pit Fiends. I've no idea how you get to be a Gelugon in the first place, though. :)
