Perkins started his career in D&D while I was still wearing diapers.

    Wheel of Time S3

I loved the Moghedian plot in the books, glad to hear it is getting good representation here.

    Wheel of Time S3

Thr standard used by the show, apparently, was to base a nations accent off of the primary character first cast from there. So, since Liandrin has a bit of a Liverpool accent, that's the Taraboner accent.

I think the dhowrunners know it important: a bit of 1 and 2 in play, I reckon.

D&D General Why Were the Dragon and Dungeon Magazines Discontinued?

They were chock full of full color art.

    Wheel of Time S3

Yup, in the books Dreaming is a nigh-mythical lost art thwt barely anyone knows how to do (and importantly no Aes Sedai) and Egwene turns out to be a genius at it. Just comparing word count to screentime, the show is naturally ar a disadvantage to fully establish details like that, which is...

What if Studio Ghibli directed Lord of the Rings?

Please don't insult human written fanfic by comparing it to this junk. I don't read fanfic, but it isn't a crime against art.

D&D 5E (2014) Why is no one talking about THE BOOK OF MANY THINGS?

Even Dragpn Heist and Shattered Obelisk are usable: honestly none of the campaign books from 5E have been Forest Oracle material. The Spelljammer and Planescape campaigns, IMO, are helped greatly NY a lower pahe count and Level length, not needing to stretch am idea to 256 pages.

D&D 5E (2014) Why is no one talking about THE BOOK OF MANY THINGS?

Looking at the books a way to make the Deck of Many Thinhs usable in play, instead of the Russian Roulette joke it has been traditionally, organizing by the cards makes a lot of sense: it helps make any card that gets pulled a story opportunity instead of a campaign wrecker.

D&D 5E (2014) Why is no one talking about THE BOOK OF MANY THINGS?

IIRC, you do not DM...so, honestly, not much? The material in thus book, except for a handful of Feats and a lot of magic items, is pretty much all DM prep material. Great present for a DM, though.

Shadowdark Setting Looks Set To Be 2025's First Million Dollar TTRPG Crowdfunder

So, at about midway between 9 and 10 thousand backers with $1.8 million raised, this is a pretty huge success for a low-swag Kickstarter (not that the books don't look nice, but the frills here are pretty down to earth for these sorts of things). Still about 3 thousand backers away from the...

D&D 5E (2014) Why is no one talking about THE BOOK OF MANY THINGS?

Thinking about why people might not talk about the book...it doesn't present many problems with use. The Big Campaign books need a lot of work to make into a game, but the bite size bits in here don't require big threads on how to fix the material.

D&D 5E (2014) Why is no one talking about THE BOOK OF MANY THINGS?

Part of the real strength of the book, IMO, is how small moat of the ideas are: very easy to go looking, find a little bit to use, and drop it in somewhere.
