Dragon Delves Dedicated to Chris Perkins

I mean...one imagines the Wisdom Save of Orcus cultists is pretty dang low.

True, I know some Ohlone people who have most best by a lot. But the demographics of California tend towards very recent comers, on average.

What Game Publishers Are Saying About The Tariffs

As a bit iof an update, Brothwrwise dropped their tariff relief package today. I pledged $10 to get the bonus starter rules PDF, Chasmfiend Magazine issue #2, and the Level 3 Adventure. I was a bit past the 24,000 mark for pledges on this new package, so about 40% of backers took them up to some...

D&D 5E (2024) Lorwyn Eclipsed, the MtG set releases January 2026, could tge Lorwyn D&D be released concurrently?

Maybe, or maybe even slightly afterwards. Could be the D&D Setting will be in the aftermath of the Msgic plotline, instead of prior or concurrent?

    Explains a lot, really.

They did: not a lot to speculate on, since it is just an Adventure anthology themed around dragons, but there are some summaries and art from a couple months back.

Nope, not weird at all: pretty impressive flex for a Californian, though.

IIRC, the character in the book is even from the Great Rift. And his whole religous path is painted as culturally unusual, too, as well as being unusual for a Cleric.

Historically, cross culturally, the average age of marriage for women tended to be mid-20s. Teen marriages have mostly been abnormal or political, not the average experience. The Baby Boomers were the weird exception, starting families way younger on average than the historical norm. But 20-30...

D&D 5E (2024) So what's going on with the October book?

Not a lot of precedent, in particular...but it wouldn't be surprising either. The UA is more suggestive than the date, as is the parallel of Forge of the Artificer.

D&D 5E (2024) So what's going on with the October book?

The timing plus Heroes of Horror UA is suggestive.

D&D 5E (2024) So what's going on with the October book?

I feel like that criticism and praise apply to most campaign books that Chris Perkins worked on, being great smorgasbords of material with mofe or less weak prebaked "plots". Though I think that both the strengthes and weaknesses typical of his style are quite exaggerated in that particular...

D&D 5E (2024) So what's going on with the October book?

Exactly. Thung is, people thought "Ocean's Eleven" when it is more like Raiders of the Lost Ark: the NPC antagonists also have the PC extremely outgunned, so going in hot and heavy is unlikely to work, so some sneaking and skill based encounters are going to be the path forward...which is what I...

D&D 5E (2024) So what's going on with the October book?

The thing people miss about Dragon Heist is thst the Villains are heisting, and the players are like the Avengers here.

Dark Horse Reveals First Dungeons & Dragons Comic

It's not the appearance, so much as the interesting dichotomy of a dexteritous person who is against type, snd how that could be utilized as a tool of deception. It would be like having a (relatively) short basketball player like the great Muggy Bogues and never using thst contrast in a story...

Well, I don't mean that everything needed to be about her body type...but compared to the example of Chel Vanin from the Wheel of Time, who used his deceptive appearance as part of his Rogue toolkit... I dunno, the characters just felt like they could do with more development, lots of missed...

D&D 5E (2024) So what's going on with the October book?

A good 64 more pages, like Planescape got, would have really sealed the deal. A gazateer if various Astral Spheres similar to Van Richten's Guide detailing various Domains of Dread would have been lit. But not having quite all the content I wanted didn't take away from what was there.
