Interesting! I gather that these rules will be exclusive to the Kickstarter and subsequent purchasers and will not be included as part of EN World subscriptions - is that right? Or do EN World subscribers at some level (Copper, Silver) get the PDF for these rules if the Kickstarter gets funded?

Drow: I prefer evil races for monsters rather than PCs. Warforged: I don't like robots in fantasy settings. Other: Can't stand shardminds, don't like wilden. They just have messy flavor. I'm also not a fan of hamadryad as a PC race, though I have yet to see one in action.

No XP. PCs level up as appropriate, as determined by me. We'll level up between sessions only. Getting rid of XP tracking has made my game much, much better.

I picked the first option, though my actual answer is, "The D&D Next announcement hasn't affected my 4e buying habits." I don't buy EVERYTHING now, nor have I ever. But I buy a lot of stuff, whatever looks interesting to me, and I'll continue to do so. If it will help my game to be more fun, great!
