allo i've always found the old 2nd edition sparrow-like kenku to be silly. they never really interested me at all. but the 3rd edition crow-like kenku are creepy, sneaky, and cool! suddenly i'm a kenku-fan :cool: maybe it's the awesome new artwork...

allo i don't hate specialization at all. choose divination and you only have to choose one prohibited school! specialization rocks!! messy :cool:

dropped 'em! :lol: made new fighter feats to simulate monk abilities like fast movement, unarmed strike, ac bonus, etc. messy :cool:

at every even-numbered fighter level, choose a bonus feat. at every odd-numbered fighter level, choose a fighter training (+1 to initiative, dodge, reflex saves, or will saves; each can be chosen multiple times, stacking). add heal, senses, and tumble as class skills. messy :cool:

(i haven't read the entire thread, so if i repeat someone else's point, please forgive me). if a player is planning their character's career, that shows a level of interest and imagination that should never be discouraged. er, IMO :) messy

allo let's say bob the fighter attacks fred the barbazu with a +1 flaming longsword. fred has damage reduction 5/silver or good, and no resistance to fire. bob hits, and rolls 4 for longsword damage and 3 for fire damage. does fred's damage reduction apply to the entire attack...

hey, i'm a "tweener." i liked the gnomes and hamsters for their cuteness and silliness i didn't like the guns (seemed out of place, even in a setting with space-traveling ships), the giff (wtf?), and the multitude of weird monsters (mind flayers, etc., which are a little too weird for me)...

Shadow of the Spider Moon (#92) Campaign - love the idea, but would dump the guns. Mecha Crusade (#95) One-shot - might be fun to try once. HiJinx (#99) One-shot - brilliant! Knights of the Lich Queen (#100) Campaign - duh! :) Dark Sun (#110/#111) Campaign - love the desert! messy :cool:

wow, so much hostility... i, too, am shocked and saddened. i've been reading dragon since issue 72 (IIRC). but let's at least give the makers of our favorite hobby a chance before we slam them. messy
