If you're open to using Dragon magazine material, Dragon 323 had some interesting tricks in its Druid Class acts section. Some that might be appropriate for horses: Avoid, Circle (maybe), Courage, Find, Loyalty, New Skill (Easy or Hard), and Recover (maybe).
