Maybe. They've been hesitant to try OSR games and were really wanting something with tactical play and a lot of options. I talked them back from Pathfinder 2 to play A5E as a compromise.

My response is to create a dungeon so there's a flowchart of somewhat limited options. This will hopefully save me from planning for a multitude of eventualities, at least for a few sessions. Hopefully this will get the players to change their mindset to be more proactive.
